Alright, after a day on vacation in a customs warehouse in Kentucky, my order has been delivered. Two 15kg boxes, 45cm x 45cm x 25cm; box strong but slightly undertaped.

Barcode sticker on side of box with "Made In Switzerland By Bitmine AG" and a unique serial number: CCD000023 and CCD000024 (we'll see if this is a dangerous info leak); matching stickers applied to invoice in airbill packet. This is a good sign about bitmine's processes and a a nice touch for those depreciating or otherwise accounting for these items.

Handwritten (in pencil) "+600" on airbill, which corresponds to the CPP bonus.

What would you guys like pictures of?

e

I'm planning on getting dB and power readings but they'll be coming later today or tomorrow.

ok CCD23 an CCD24... when was the shipping date an what was your que number ?

We tested the turbo mode during the past few hours and.........

You'll get arround 50 additional Ghash/s per unit BUT the HW errors go up. In the end, you'll get the same amount of valid shares like in normal mode XD
At least the normal mode runs stable and does not produce any HW errors...

My conclusion: Turbo mode sucks...where's the firware update?

"... we can resell your position in queue ..." is the most interesting part of this refund declaration.

so if anybody requests refund that does not mean that all others get their miner earlier, it means only that bit mine will sell this position to somebody and all other customers have still wait...

Yes, this basically means
Quote
By signing this refund request order you will immediately loose any rights on your order and on your queue position.
The shipping adress of your order will be changed immediately to
     CryptX/Petamine
4 Rue des Pères Blancs 1040 Etterbeek
     Brussels Belgium

Coincraft Rig: No, due to technical problems

Since they haven't posted I video of a working Rig, I really start to worry.
I don't think that the first rigs will be shipped before mid March. Or how do you see this?

Every order has a queue position (per machine) and original expected delivery date. You can only find those things out by emailing Bitmine and asking for them.

I'm no lawyer at all, but my common sense tells me:

DO NOT SIGN THIS!

Instead, take the first page, fill it out and at the end of the page, put your place + date + your signature.
Throw the second page away.

Then make sure, you can 100% proof that you have a confirmation, that they have received your letter.
3 methods come to my mind:

1. Fax. Be careful though, you need the sending confirmation you receive after sending and on that confirmation there should be a copy of what you have actually sent.
2. Registered mail, where they have to sign that they have received your letter and where you get the written confirmation back.
3. Not sure if this is possible in Switzerland, but in Germany you can go to a court and have them delivering your letter in person. This costs a small fee, but it's the strongest evidence you can get, that they have received the letter.

If and when you put the letter in an envelope, get someone who watches you while doing it.
Also, when sending the letter, also have someone with you.
Otherwise they could argue, that what you have sent them was not the refund request.

If they don't comply to your request, because of the missing second page, you'd probably need a lawyer who will open Bitmine's eyes on what is legal and what is not.

Again, I'm no lawyer, I cannot say 100% for sure if they are allowed to force you into new terms to receive your refund, which conditions where originally defined in their TOS at the time you bought the miner. In my oppinion they cannot. If in doubt, please contact a lawyer before you sign anything!

Edit:
Thinking about it, they cannot refuse your refund at all, if you do not sign the second page. Why? Because as long as you do not agree to their new terms on the second page, the original TOS applies, which says:
Quote
3.3 If, where permitted by these Terms, you wish to receive a refund for the goods, you will need to provide Bitmine with details of the source bank account or Bitcoin wallet number used for the purchase of the goods.
Quote
4.5.3 After the 61st day of late shipment, you have the right to request a full refund and we will pay you an additional penalty of 10% of the initial order amount, including shipping fees.

These are the rules that do apply. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't agree to new rules by signing the second page. My advise.

Just Fun!
I dunno. I ordered in late November when USD/BTC was high. Now it's a lot lower.  I would nearly double my investment if they gave me a refund today. Which might be better than I'll get on the miner itself.  Hope not though! :-)

you are right, then BTC was high, but your purchase amount in bit coins was counted with much lower value as it was at this day in blockchain markets. just control it and you will see it yourselves.

they will have 30 days time to make your refund ready, so they can choose highest rate in this timeframe, so even BTC is low now they will not pay them bach to you at this moment when you request, but in the moment which ist best for them. they will collect requests, choosing best rate to buy BTC and waiting the moment when BTC is high to count your BTC-amount for refund. so you will give them a huge possibility to earn lots of money extra. bitmine will earn money if you sign this contract at this moment. better contact your lawyer and set up a letter where you fix the BTC rate of requesting day, giving them max 2 days timeframe to confirm your request and correct the BTC/USD rate in this timeframe and make clear that if they are not confirming this request in this 2 days you will see your request as confirmed.

i think your lawyer can formulate it much better, but i hope you understand what i want to say.

One person sent an e-mail!
Need to fill out by hand and still need my signature!

REFUND REQUEST FORM https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4izEkfhvfklWXJDWFVkbVlzMGs

"... we can resell your position in queue ..." is the most interesting part of this refund declaration.

so if anybody requests refund that does not mean that all others get their miner earlier, it means only that bit mine will sell this position to somebody and all other customers have still wait...

10% extra will be lowered by 30$, transfer fees, exchange rate ext. so finally stays only 5%-8% what you will get extra...

when you brought your miner and payed it with BTC, they had horrible BTC/USD rate, for refund they are counting with the best fee for themselves. their BTC/USD was usually up to 15% lower when you had to pay your miner, now they will count practically with daily highest price. so if you payed with BTC you will lose money even if they give you 10% extra.

grazy stuff... i would not sign it! better take contact with your lawyer.

+1 i never accept this contract
