Is it only me or, there is a problem with the withdraw confirmation email ?
no email received today.

Having own a few sites myself, I can relate to that.

However I have no knowledge to confirm if both are managed by the same person/ company.


Those Moon faucets globally rank quite well if you've seen theirs before. Right now as we speak, Moonbitcoin ranks at 3,655 since it's one of the most populous faucets to date.

Meanwhile Mellowads publishers websites are required to be in the top 100,000. Along with the large base of advertisers (MA has a faucet in case you're unaware), I reckon MA is able to pay the rates for sites under their network.

From a business perspective, faucets have to rely on ads, with maximum earning potentials. They source from a network (back to MA) to sponsor the funds. In turn, MA gathers the advertisers willing to pay for ad space. Then it boils down to the rules on ponzis and whatnot are allowed to be advertised. But then unlike non-Bitcoin networks like Google Ads, many Bitcoin ad publishing networks tend to support those shady ones because why? Those categories generate the most income in the Bitcoin world.

So we visitors have to also play smart and know faucets are just faucets; claim and ciao. Don't just simply click on a flashy "DOUBLE YOUR BITCOIN" ad and expect results to happen literally. It's common sense. There's no free lunch. Even this forum has this disclaimer right below its ad space:

its "free" in that there are no fees to use it, no subscription or other costs
there is no denial from anyone (including coinpot) that their business model revolves around advertising revenue - they arent a charity that just gives away over $5000 in crypto every day from the goodness of their hearts!
so yes, they show lots of ads - some of which you might not be interested in
my advice, just ignore the ads you dont like, and click on only the ones you are interested in (to help support coinpots income, so that we all benefit!)
and yes, they encourage you to login/claim frequently and complete captchas. you might regard this as work, but its main purpose is to increase ad impressions and ensure they are mostly from real people (and not bots)

You seem to be quite certain there, did you check this?
I bet that CP and Mallow ads = same owner and some of the ponzis are from CP. Why can they pay better than other faucets?

And of course the service is not free. Its funny when faucets are telling you that you get cryptos for free. I have to do something for it (solve captcha for example) and then I can get something - this is what some people would call work and not free. Its not hard work but its not hard earnings either.

They have no choice because those kind of ads actually yield more earnings for CoinPotty.

But then, CP is only the publisher, not the owner behind them.

Hopefully, today's UTC change over is a good sign. I see my interest being paid at UTC+1. I agreed previously, it would take several hours for this to occur.

There was some non-sense last night with "service unavailable" on a production system. Either they were putting through code changes, servers went down, or DDoS... but today it seems better. It does make you think what kind of backend operation they run, but at least I'm glad the payments are closer to UTC+0. Hopefully, they can actually pay on UTC cutover going forward.

The problem with delayed lottery tickets and reward points is just the latest in a long list of problems people have had with them. That's why I question their competence. The service isn't free, they're spamming you Ponzi and malware ads.

I felt it was relevant in the context of your statement: "Can this site do anything right?". That's a pretty sweeping statement. Perhaps you should stay on topic and stick to the single issue you're having, rather than denigrating the entire - free - service?

That's not the point. This is the CoinPot topic, that's why I'm talking about CoinPot and not another faucet. Stay on topic instead of trying to deflect anytime someone brings up problems with the website and accusing everyone of cheating when it's not even relevant to the issue I was having.

Yep, because I've had a positive experience of something and said so I'm clearly in cahoots with 'The Man', which in this case is CP.

Ask yourself this - how much are you paying for the service? That's right, nothing. CP is completely free and doesn't have the infrastructure of say, Netflix, to respond to every email & complaint, many of which will be from angry cheaters.

Perhaps if you're so unhappy with CP you should use another service? Please feel free to share when you find one that is flawless and superior to CoinPot, I'd love to try it.

I am new to Coinpot but so far I like the design of the site and how it all functions together. There are some quirks they should fix, but transactions have been going through fine for me -- both deposits and withdrawls. Granted, I deposit Doge or LTC using a network that's not plauged with TX or block confirmation delays.


I'm curious, do you recommend another site? Sounds like you don't like the features nor operations of CoinPot...

Paying out sporadically whenever the hell they feel like sending payments out and cheaping out on fees so that you have to wait days for confirmation. So reliable.

There is no need to accuse you. It is evident what you are by the way you tout their virtues while ignoring all the issues plaguing Coinpot.

Apart from providing an exceptionally convenient way to earn free Bitcoin and other crypto, offering a very respectable interest rate on deposits and paying out reliably for three years... no, I guess it can't.  

Cue accusations of being a shill/plant/Coinpot admin etc.

That's the major disadvantage of coinpot. They do add from time to time new features (like the vip rewards) and they still are paying, but their support is non existant.
Will check this conversion issue out, haven't noticed that before

The unofficial support admin is just as bad as the official one. He disappeared and won't even come around to accuse anyone who encounters a technical problem of cheating.
