Man Arrested for Failing to Return a “Freddie Got Fingered” VHS He Rented in 2002

The Daily Sheeple  by Melissa Dykes 11:33 pm

article-freddy-4-0321

So, here in America, Hillary Clinton can continue to run for president even though pretty much everyone including her knows that she’s broken some pretty heft laws regarding classified government information on her private email server, but the average person can be arrested while taking his daughter to school because he forgot to return a VHS tape 14 years ago that’s probably worth… what? Fifty whole cents at a garage sale?

This just happened to a man named James Meyers in North Carolina. He was pulled over by police because of a bad tail light and the officer found the old warrant from 2002 for failing to return a VHS of the movie Freddie Got Fingered.

At least the officer who pulled him over allowed the guy to take his kid to school and go to work (so, you know, he wouldn’t also lose his job over a VHS tape of a really lame movie) if he promised to turn himself in later that day.

Meyers was charged with “failure to return rental property”. Not that you shouldn’t return things you rent, but come on. Is the VHS store even still in business at this point? Actually, no. It isn’t. The store, J&J Video, has apparently been closed for a decade now:

Meyers, a drum and bass musician, said he had never been arrested before, and said the ordeal was very humiliating. “They took my belt, I was trying to hold my pants up while trying to sign papers,” he said. “It was very embarrassing.”

“It scared my daughter,” he said. “She thought I was going to jail for a bad brake light.”

Meyers rented the VHS from J&J Video in Salisbury, North Carolina, according to police. “The store has been closed for about 10 years now, if I’m not mistaken,” he said.

Even comedian Tom Green, who starred in “Freddie Got Fingered,” can’t believe this is real.

I just saw this and I am struggling to believe it is real. https://t.co/GrTXoUj29X

Then again, this is also a country where you can get raided by U.S. marshals for failing to pay a 30-year-old $1500 student loan.

America… where justice always gets served!

Well, yah, obviously.

I guess what I'm saying is this makes no sense.  Is this an obscene picture?  Is it somehow inappropriate for a first lady?  I don't get it.  Should a Mormon not vote for Trump because his wife was a model?

I truly don't get it.

Well, while we are at it...can we have some pics of Hitlery's wifey?  And I'm not talking Bill here.

Mormons are a strange breed...  They despise anything that resembles pornography... (plus she isn't wearing magic underwear!)

The Amish, Quakers, or Muslims would also disapprove...

Religions be crazy, yo...

Tide comes in, tide goes out... you can't explain that!

Amish and Quakers. Are they known to vote in any US elections, at all?

Trump Learns of Naked Melania Photo Used in Attack Ad

Yesterday we were stunned when we learned that in order to support Ted Cruz and to "attack" Donald Trump, Liz Mair's anti-Trump Make America Awesome super PAC launched a Facebook campaign which in addition to showcasing Mitt Romney's support for Ted Cruz, emphasizing Trump's past support for pro-choice policies, it also crossed the family line when it showed a GQ modeling photo of Melania Trump posing nude.

Crossed lines aside, what surprised us most is that "showing a naked Melania Trump, a successful, multi-lingual supermodel and undoubtedly the most attractive first lady America would ever have, is not exactly an attack ad" and we wondered how badly this ad would backfire "the moment men end up seeing the ad." We will find out the moment the Utah primary results come in, even though by her admission, Mair certainly did her best to only focus on women voters.

As beautiful as the baby Jesus.
Total weirdness.

This is an attack ad?  In Utah, just because they are Mormon?

Maybe Cruz should try running the same add in California.  lol...

This ad wasn't even necessary. Utah will follow anyone pushed by beck and romney...

The ad worked because he played it in Utah, which is 99% Mormon... in any other state they would be correct about the ad backfiring

WOW: This Revelation About Trump Supporters Will Have Other Candidates Worried SICK

Western Journalism.com  by Jack Davis 2:24 pm

More than a third of voters supporting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump won’t back anyone other than The Donald as the Republican presidential nominee, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

The Monmouth University survey found that if Trump is not the GOP nominees, 27 percent of his supporters won’t vote in November, while 7 percent would vote Democratic. 43 percent said they will back whoever the GOP nominated instead of Trump.

“A majority of non-Trump supporters seems to be in favor of a brokered-convention process at this point in the campaign,” said pollster Patrick Murray.

“That would probably throw the party into turmoil, with many Trump supporters abandoning the party.”

The poll found that 54 percent of GOP voters said the party should unite behind Trump if he’s ahead in the delegate count, even if he does not meet the magic number of 1,237 delegates to ensure nomination, while 34 percent suggested that the fight continue with additional rounds of voting.

Trump supporters are loyal because they feel no one else speaks for them, wrote Y. Elchonon, author at Yated.

“Trump supporters believe that for almost 30 years the politically protected members of the Republican establishment have cut their convenient deals with their Democrat counterparts in Washington for the benefit of their well-connected friends and the moneyed special interest groups which lavishly support both parties. The elite conservatives have always sneered at the ‘poorly educated’ working class who were known as Reagan Democrats then, and who comprise the loyal army for Trump’s political revolution today,” Elchonon wrote.

Elchonon called Trump the “revenge of the working class.”

“Their interests have been abandoned by the political leaders they voted for. The rise of Donald Trump is their sweet revenge. He speaks for them when nobody else will,” Elchonon wrote. “The media and the intellectual elites on both the left and the right have thinly disguised contempt for Trump supporters …”

Trump’s “potent message, mixing populism and nationalism, is reaching across the partisan divide,” Elchonon wrote. “It has ignited the pent up anger and frustration of grass roots Americans, whose fundamental needs and desires have been ignored by their elected leaders for too long. Trump is their duly appointed messenger. In the current attempts by the left and right establishments, with the aid of the media, to kill that messenger, their cynical agenda lies exposed.”
