The 1984 Group LP company that created the P2P Utopia project has existed since 2015 and is in the registers of legal entities of the United Kingdom, however, there is no data on the founders.

What did you like:
-During the first installation of the client, you do not need to specify an email, just specify a nickname and set a password.

-Multilingual support which has a choice of 29 languages.
-You can also restore your account if you have saved your private key or seed phrase, which I did by simply reinstalling the client and restoring it from the saved private key.

-In the PC version, there are a lot of different functions and monitoring capabilities in the Utopia client, which of course goes beyond just a messenger, rather it is a set of tools for using and creating private messages and data transmission, a kind of analogue of a social network.
-There is a umail mail running inside the Utopia network.

-There is a mining tab, but in order to receive passive income by simply leaving your utopia client, you need to have 64 CRP on the balance.

-The client has a built-in Idyll browser, so clicking on links in chats will open the built-in browser.

Now as for the mobile version of the Utopia client:
After reviewing the mobile version of utopia app, it seems to me that there are not enough settings options in it and it has only the purpose of a messenger and there is no uWallet and Idyll browser in it.
The "Auto accept authorization" option does not work correctly and regardless of whether it is enabled or disabled, you immediately get to the main page when you launch the application, it would not be bad to also add a security section where you could specify login by password or fingerprint, because in fact you may have the same account as and in a desktop PC, since there is a possibility of porting using a secret key or seed phrase.
So I strongly do not recommend those who keep CRP coin on their PC to transfer the account to their smartphone.
Also in the mobile version there is no option to choose a dark theme, although the option itself seems to be available, but nothing happens when you click. There are no language selection settings, apparently everything is given to the android system here and depends on the selected language in the smartphone settings, when viewing chat channels containing links there is no way to go through them since there is no highlighting of them, apparently due to the lack of a browser in the mobile version, but on the other hand it can protect against potentially dangerous content and this possibly due to security.
What needs to be improved (my opinion):
-I would certainly like to have a full-fledged umail mail client in Utopia, while sending and receiving emails is available only to Utopia network users-Currently, there are more than 3660 channels in Utopia messenger and it would not be bad to have some sort of sorting by orientation and categories, now they just follow each
other, as well as to make a button to return to the channel list (back) for example below the search box, and what I liked was the pleasant look of the messenger when using a dark theme, the ability to create a private channel in which you can invite someone with whom you need to communicate.
-The built-in browser has a low page loading speed, apparently due to the work of the network.
What didn't you like:
-All sources have closed code and we have no way to check how decentralized and anonymous the Utopia project really is.
-No wallet in the mobile version.
-Lack of protection of the mobile client from unauthorized access.
-Utopia mining bots work only under Linux.
-As for the Utopia messenger as a whole, it, as well as in other messengers with a focus on privacy, has channels of contradictory content, to put it mildly, for example, "pictures v..s" there is of course the possibility of sending a report, in one check how this mechanism works.
In general, the P2P Utopia project looks pretty organic with an old-school UI design and a large set of functionality.
