He mean that people have been waiting almost 6 months last summer after KnC rumour until lyra2e has come, but algorithm change could not save VTC from hard dump, market included investor and miners losing interest in vtc. he was afraid that during this long period we could have more dump and dump

it is my rigs,i support miningpoolhub, when he built the pool, i came back
btw,the price is very low now,mining is not profitable,i might not stick too long,

Here is VTC price data from 2014-02-14 until today (2015-01-11) for some of the exchanges. Recent data is only from craptsy and bter because I haven't been keeping track of the server that the data has been accumulating on, but since I'm shutting it down I might as well share the data. Monocle and Zerovert are not owned by the VTC devs and didn't switch to Lyra2RE and thus cannot be merge mined anymore. They may fork in the future but it is unclear if they will.

As I read today ... MON did switch to lyra ... and can be somehow mined with vtc... just matter of setuping this ...? Not sure about details ... so if someone has any ... would be good..

And what you mean owned/not owned :/ ? None of coins are owned by anyone :/
But vert developers created MON ... so they should deal with it like with vert in some way ...

I am getting to have feeling all of this is just sick kids playground ... everywhere Sad

Besides of that, MON is delisted from Bittrex, Poloniex and I don't know if there is any other exchange still hosting it, so MON is - more or less - dead, i'm not sure if it would help to get that coin merged mined with VTC..

Not merged mining gets a coin goin IMHO, new developments get coins rollin' again.. Interest for merged mining comes from alone then.
