What? I dont see anything! the man who made the last pump apparently willing to sell at a higher price. right now he is playing with the price ..... and the price of a vtc coin is far from the actual 0.0001
Right now is at 0.00041007 and still underpriced compared to electricity needed to mine.

Albeit, I promote this coin, and support the community, so I like to think that is why people support my pool.
That users could check correctness of work of a pool, restore display - Contributor Shares and Round Shares.Thanks!
Restore? I'm not sure right now why its not showing correctly. The user transactions however does work.
If I get chance this weekend I will see what I can do though.

Just trying to get VTC setup to mine on www.xpool.ca however I'm getting the following issue with the wallet:
vertcoind getinfoError: Failed to read block
Error: Failed to connect best block
Any idea how to address this?

Not yet... that was my first sync already... took quite some time... is there a bootstrap I could load?

Very badly that on this pool the statistics of "Round Shares" is hidden!
I assume that there is a deception of miners.

Its to do with the fact that the hashrate is showing incorrectly (about twice as high as it really is), which I stated above.
As for the round shares page, I've not checked that page - it doesn't appear to be showing the valid shares amount for some reason, but does show the payment receipt amounts.
Had I wanted to hide any information, that page would either have not been available *at all*, or showed faked information. A corrupt agent wouldn't last long however, as there is very little to chose from between pools.

Its all to do with the difficulty mask.
Currently it is: diff1 = 0x000000ffff000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
This allows essentially -f 2 to work, where shares are submitted at double their actual difficulty. Afaik everyone can do this, so there isn't an inherent advantage, but it does throw the hashrate off.
If i change this mask to:
diff1 = 0x0000007fff000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
(I believe) or maybe it was
diff1 = 0x0000000ffff00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
- Then the -f 2 "attack" no longer works, and only valid shares are accepted. However it seems some miners are by default submitting shares at the above difficulty mask, not the later one (whichever one it was that I tested).
