FED Auctions again ?

MtGox still owes me a few coins... If those coins come from Mtgox give 'em back! Smiley

We don't even know if the coins have been seized or not.

The positive news around all this is that it seems that criminals (not saying he is or isn't) can't hide on Bitcoin. If TPTB are not worried nor scared about Bitcoin maybe they won't try too hard to shut it down.

LE sure has been batting a 1000 lately. (Sporting metaphor for Jimbo.) Really hitting them out of the park. (As it were.) It just goes to show you, the long arm of the law has us all by the fly balls... (And so on.)

You were able to find an ATM that had only 3% fees or did you purchase using a different method?

I used the ATM nearest to my home. It is a Lamassu operated by Instacoin.

They use dynamic pricing, presumably to balance their inventory of bitcoins and dollars. If they sell more coins than they buy, they raise their buy fees and lower their sell fees and vice versa.

That suits me just fine as it's precisely when there's a panic dump that I want to buy the dip.

Thanks for the info!  I went with a buddy of mine to use an ATM in Scarborough one time (there was one in the Scarborough town center); they wanted 10% and I wasn't about to pay that much.  That one disappeared in 2015 and I haven't done any research since then.  I see now after you piqued my interest with the possibility of low fees that there are now machines much closer to me with lower fees. Sweet!  I didn't even know they had variable fees.  Field trip!

Any more Hogtown in this thread we're going to have to start a sausage party.

I sold again, at 2740, sold all.

Yep, I knew you don't have any bitcoins. Tomorrow when price is higher than that you'll stop posting here or you'll change your nickname.

What is the problem with you?
My balance is not your business.
Yes, my fiat is standing by at bitstamp.

I bet you have no coins if you are acting like this, or you just lost all at btc-e

The most surprising news is that BTC-e lasted that long. Let's see:

- COmpletely unlicensed for money transmitting
- No idea who was behind, no known corporate, no known owners, no known directors, no nothing.
- No KYC/AML, or at least not that complete as competing exchanges.

Hmmmmm, it sounds a bit like Poloniex.....

Right so what the hell is going on? We had segwit lock in euphoria and it increased and then dropped again, now a shut down of btc-e, I have no clue what the fuck is happening August 1st anymore.

What's going to happen over the next couple of months price wise?

I know it's going to be very volatile but I am pretty confused about what's actually taking place and when.

I think my brain has been scrambled over the past 2 weeks of so.

There are a lot of different perspectives out there. All we can do is hope for the best in all of this.

Owner Of Russia's Largest BTC Exchange Arrested – Money May Be Lost

"... According to the latest report, Bits.media received information from the administrator of the qugla.com service, which conducted the marketing campaign of Humaniq, saying that Alexander Vinnik is indeed one of the owners and administrators of BTC-e.

He stated, that another administrator of BTC-e probably has access to the exchange, and now, most likely tries to solve the situation. He also stated that the future of BTC-e exchange is uncertain and user funds may be never returned. He continued..."

Tears coming.. Big ones..

“Forecasts are disappointing. If within 48 hours the situation is not resolved in a positive way, with a high degree of probability you can forget about the money.”

Btc-e leftover admin already stated 5-10 days..
Leftover admins have no acces to btc-e wallets!
