I bought some at $587.

I was wondering about that?   I was wondering whether I should buy now, or wait until $583 or wait until $593?

Are you such a whale that a fraction of a percent makes a difference?  At all?  Just buy already.  If it goes down enough to make a difference, you can always sell a kidney, or a kid or something to buy more.

Your seemingly hostile non-answer answer seems to miss the point... but maybe I am getting caught up in style, rather than substance?   hm?   Cheesy

In the last about 2.5 months, I have been buying quite a few coins at around this price......  so buying a bit cheaper would be better and preferable, if possible, even though in the long run, it may NOT make too much difference whether I bought a few more at $593 or $583 or even $603.

I do like to keep down my average buy price though, if there is some way to foresee price movement, then I prefer to buy at the lower end of thee price range rather than the higher end.

Strange that I would need to explain some seemingly obvious points, regarding what was meant as a light-hearted inquiry/comment.   Huh   Roll Eyes   Tongue

583 instead of 587  will get you <0.7% more coins.  If you are buying 10 coins, that's about .0686 btc .  Will that make a notable bump in your portfolio?  If you are buying 1000 coins, that's still less than 7btc.  A more notable sum on its own, but still NOT (see what I did there?) worth any sort of sweat when you have thousands of coins.  Anyway, back to ignore  Cheesy

YES.... if that is the best interaction that you can make is to trivialize and to make fun out of buying contemplations of other posters, then we do NOT have much need to proceed further with this line of NON-communications.

You can be OFF to enjoy.... or NOT.....  more meaningful interactions... ...  Hasta !!!!!!   Roll Eyes Tongue  Kiss

What's going on? I'm afraid what'll happen the coming week. It's Sunday, so do you think we might see another Sunday night rise/pump or are we in for a Monday-Monday-Manic-Crash? Where are our long-term support lines we're supposed to bounce of now?
Personally I think we are in for an interesting week - mid term decision time is nearly upon us...

Yeah, I don't know if I should be excited or frightened. But when things got tough in this recovery phase, everything actually went pretty well! But I can't say I'm not afraid... It's nerve-wrecking! Cheesy

If we get to 750 and there is some serious volume then I will be all eyes and ears

If we go to 435 I will also be all eyes and ears.

At this stage I am hiding behind the sofa- I almost cannot watch... or I am asleep- not sure which.

Edit - Eitherway I am all eyes this week, and if we still get nothing but sideways this week (god help me) then I am still going to be behind the sofa for the few weeks after that too... if we have not done anything between now and say Aug 8th- then I really will be really quite shocked

Ok ok ... now that we have got here... and we are still sideways.... as it turns out I am only slightly mildy surprised......

So I guess we wait some more....

Looking good. I mean, for those people who are wanting to buy.
The question is how long the horizontal trend will last. Can't wait forever u know.  Tongue
And you aren't the only one.  I think the best way to answer your question is to find out who has to sign off on what inside the SEC before COIN gets listed.  Find out what side of their bread is buttered, and you will know the outcome.  If you can isolate the key decision makers, then trace the financial moves of their friends & family, you may see exchange-based bitcoin accumulation, or buying into SecondMarket's fund et filia.  That would be a big red flag in front of the bull move.

I like your thinking.

Is it just me, or does that sound very illegal? I don't know what kind of prohibitions SEC decision markers are under with this sort of thing, but there's got to be something that covers that....
