yep, truth. I just lost 0.04 btc to the bots. Beware. bought back in higher than i should have but stepping away slowly.
I sold 100 LTC before the big gox dump and bought back at the small window to make profit = 0,2 LTC.
Btc-e was resilent as hell and not reacting at all to that dump.
I had lunch with a cutie from the office... had to buy in blind cause i didnt want to risk losing BTC while being away from the ticker. She cost me 0.1 BTC
I did make 0.25 yesterday so can't complain too much.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times they're told that it's smarter to buy and hold. They don't want to listen. They just want to trade.

Your statement is true. If you hold then exit at the peak then yes.
Any miner who sells their mined coins daily will have made less then 20% of the miners that held and sold anywhere close to $1000usd today.
And those miners making 1btc today if they hold and sell when the ATH is 10k USD will be ahead of a miner who sold this years worth of mining at $1000
Edit: this is not the case if BTC price drops to 100 and the network difficulty stays at this level.

The trend is still up but it will take a lot to break that 5600/900 barrier. If that bots there to push the price down as low as possible then I'd guess its also low on coins and if 900 can break then 1000 wont offer as much resistance. It doesn't seem too intent on going down hard though, not figured out if it has a low trigger yet but if its happy with a steady move in either direction then things could be calm for a while.Whatever it goes I am not touching it until it's clear as sun. It's in a stage where losing money is almost guaranteed.
