actually it is very healthy

That's the feeling I get. We get crazy gains but then they get pegged back to reality. Back in april it was unfettered, now it seems 'fettered' or at least every time it seems like a bubble the market thinks "oh hai we're in a bubble, let's sell"

Good to hear someone else is thinking along these lines too.

And thee was absolutely no news today...    Cheesy

Gotta love the panic sheep-le

One minute they're holding tight at $380.  20 minutes later they're hot to dump their load for $310.  LOL!

Im just pissed off my BTC hasn't shown up on gox ... i could only trade with a small stash

You've gotta keep your shit together in these moments if you feel yourself panic and reaching for market order get up and pour water on your head

That was a totally normal retrace....L4 = 61.8%....actually it is very healthy, good to see some people taking profit.
As you predicted correctly many pages back  Cool

I know a lot of people don't go in for the fibonacci numbers but they generally work.

I hope some people grabbed some deals based on the pricing I threw out the other day....based on the increased top you would have had to move those buys up (significantly) but the percentages work.

i'd almost like to see a crash to under 300 just to see the huge demand for coins at that price.

It went down to 266 for a few seconds before it was bought back up....that's how much demand there was.
Lots of people waiting for those brief red candle special sales.

no, thats not demand, thats calling the bottom.

are you saying the bottom of a market is unrelated to demand? seriously?

the bottom is defined by demand

(i'm always talking gox figures on this thread unless stated otherwise)

yo haha i just got goxxed with some latent order that was in the engine even though it was cancelled and didn't show up on my order list for sale at 349.99

I think a whale screwed up and did a market buy that raised his price too high and i sold the btc i just bought for 305, cause he promptly put up 600 ask wall at 245 or something right when my order went off, i was pissed cause I just increased my btc and got goxxed, but then the price tanked and i bought back in with more fiat

Anyway the name of the game is forget about USD value and increase your bit coins during these times

Edit: special thanks for the seller at 305

China is waking up and when they see the price so low they might start selling like crazy. The bear could have made a timing mistake.

I'd say he timed it right if he sold and is looking for cheap coins.

Inspiring anyone to sell like crazy is done to buy much cheaper.

Theoretically, how many coins would it take to induce such a move? Is it likely one entity or is it multiple colluding?

I've made $3,800 in 10 days just by devouring this and a few other super threads morning and night and every available stealable moment.  I've stared mesmerized not infrequently paralyzed at chart movements, volume changes, ask sums, all the neat stuff.  This is the life for me! (OK, a lift from the rum and carrots guy). Oh, and I would have made $7,500 had I done none of the above.

you are very welcome. could you please adopt me, i have no real family?
