You're never too old to think young.
Oops. A little late with Thursday's candle.

Not as tall as some people expected, but tall nonetheless.

Back to green for Friday?

Almost no volume....

It looks like everybody is just waiting for the funds to be released -or not-.

Any opportune whaly could easily move things down now with little volume, while to move the price believably up the same way would require much more of it.

Actually bids and asks are fairly balanced in both directions, at least for te first $10 either way.

Assuming you believe the API.  Did it occur to anyone that many of the transactions and and bids might just be MtGox faking market activity?  Why would you trust API data coming from a company that could be dealing with bankruptcy?

^ "everyone" is, are they?

Looks like bears had better watch out then.

I'd say.... sorry, "everyone would say"... the recent drop was just due to uncertainty around MtGox and the pricing gap made it unreasonable to buy right now, tipping the supply-demand balance.

Dump trucks? Not so much.

Hi Pirate!

Yes, but at this moment of uncertainty a large sell order would make ppl think they missed the news and jump on the Dump Truck.
A large Buy would probably have the same effect but would have to be larger for it, because everybody is expecting scores of Bitcoins to be sold at this time, not bought.

crap, did MtGox hold trading or what? Total trade seems to have grinded to a halt as everybody is waiting for news about the payouts!

Just standard stagnant, sideways trading.

and yes. growing pains is likely. bitinstant went down because they too became over successful.

LOL wut? I think you need to do some more research.

they are closed for business because too many people began using them and they got overloaded (things got really bad with them). bitinstant v3 coming around the corner

many numerous verified reports of people receiving their wires in the last 2 days!

I haven't followed up on this yet, but if true, and they have their banking problems resolved, it is excellent news. The price will probably go down in the short term, but it would help to restore confidence, and we need all of that we can get.
