Yes, I read about it here some time ago. Sad story. I remember at some point he bought a castle, was involved in a strategy game he was developing, and he progressively got insane. Or so I read from comments. I don't know much about him, but he seemed like an intriguing personality, based on reading some of his posts.
Like it was mentioned a few posts back, too much money can lead to losing control if you're not careful. Sad...
He always did seem a little off-the-wall but it's hard to gauge between eccentricity and something darker. Especially in this sphere.
