That what you wrote there is not true.
I can call out any ATH... there being a breather after it or not. An ATH (at its time) doesn't depend on what comes after it. It's just the highest price ever reached. And you can call it at that moment every single time!

(or maybe I don't get what you wanted to say)

As long as the price is climbing, you can't really pin an ATH, because it's continuing to climb the other moment. There needs to be a lower price after a higher price that you can identify the higher price as an ATH (aka. the most recent highest price), otherwise the temporary ATH is invalidated at the blink of an eye by another temporary ATH, but we're speaking definite ATH. Price has to retrace to fix the ATH.

Seems logical to me, at least.

Your definition of an ATH is false.

https://www.fortrade.com/glossary/all-time-high-ath/
Or just scroll-zoom through the shorter-timeframe charts, where you can see it if you don't believe it.
Feel free to post an example of an ATH which was immediately followed by a higher price Wink

It's plain simple: Buys are triggering sells (and vice versa). You already knew that, didn't you?

Quote
We can agree that there are prices were BTC shoots through and never revisit them again, right?
You say that never happened with with any ATH ever created...  I have strong doubts but no time to go through an hourly chart of 13 years.
So let's you are right, then everybody could sell every ATH an make money right by buying back? That sounds like a money machine everybody could use with a 100% success rate. And I'm 100% certain that doesn't exist.

(or maybe I don't get what you wanted to say here either)

No, sorry, i was not saying anything like that. How can you sell a (definitive) ATH before you know it actually is the highest price of a pump? You can't. If it's still going up, you didn't sell the ATH. The ATH is being printed when the price gets over the highest price ever (you know that) and it's definitely the highest ever since. You can't tell which price is the highest ever, if it doesn't go down. Or you're thinking many ATH's if the price pumps over the formerly highest price UNTIL it stops pumping. But i think that's not correct. I still say ATH is ATH when you know it was the highest price ever. And you only know if it stops climbing.

EDIT: This starts to taste like the old chicken/egg debate. I don't care if you get my point or not. You are free to believe what you want. No offense.
EDIT2: I think i remember getting stuck with you like that a couple of times in past discussions already. Coincidence?

As long as you bring your own definitions of words it doesn't make much sense to discuss this matter.

If you don't believe me, please look up the definition of an ATH by your own and try if you find any definition that says that an ATH is defined by what comes after it.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
We went down to 98700, my buy back order at 96500 doesn't seem that far fetched now does it ?

Also I've done KYC on Poloniex where I had dust laying around, it turns out that dust is worth 5 figures now.

Now I need to do the cryptopia thing but that one is a hassle and I'm not sure I have something left.

Now if the assets I had on there a few months prior that I had removes when I found out circle was buying them had been seized and liquidated then I would have those fuckers in court.

If it happened to you, it will have happened to someone else with a bigger amount. Or maybe they only leave the big players alone because they know they will sue and win? Unlike the little guys who won't consider going against their exchange due to high lawyer fees.

Yeah I have heard of Poloniex pulling this withdrawal freeze shit. Anyone else can confirm? I have a few Ks on Polo but I think if I take it out in segments of like 1k a day or every two days then the system will not freeze/notice me?

Although taking Bitcoin out will be impossible, seeing as this exchange demands hundreds of dollars in fees per Bitcoin withdrawal for some reason...

Where the dude at? Observing corn ?
Brazil?

Yes, 100% sure it's in Brazil, it seems to be in the northeast... maybe Fortaleza-CE?
Isn't that possible to judge through the pictures and besides didn't see any location tags on the photos. So is that hard to know, maybe would have to image scanner to fish out the exact location. Just few moments I would log to my PC then use my phone to scan through to get the exact place.

Edit..
From my photo location finder; he is observing corn from Gamboa, Salvador, Bahia.
I could wrong or right.

A lot of paper handed Bitcoiners out there today. Don’t be one of them. We have not topped yet for this cycle.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it

Very weird as when I refused KYC with them they sold off all my assets at the lowest number (after taking a socialized 30% loss from what I have no clue) from the previous year and sent the check to my attorney general.

Thats when they lied and said there would be assets withdrawal allowed if they ever institute kyc after goldman ballsacks bought them.

The funny thing is I didn't actually refuse KYC, I refused to agree to their arbitration clause they instituted at the same time and they kept lying saying I was refusing KYC but in order to do KYC you had to accept their bullshit new fuck you over terms.

It was only like $1500 so no big deal but even so they showed what kind of pieces of shit they are and I won't deal with scumbags like that ever.

I did look into suing their asses but the cost outlay just was not worth the effort.

Now if the assets I had on there a few months prior that I had removes when I found out circle was buying them had been seized and liquidated then I would have those fuckers in court.

Hmm, now that I think of it with the new administration moving oin maybe the fed would be interested in this as they couldn't care less when it happened.

The times they are a changing. Cheesy
