If you regularly use smartphones more than laptops, you should use Uphold, an application that supports many types of altcoin, besides only supporting the altcoin, it also supports other cash methods.
I recomend only MEW.
For me MEW is the best wallet and I don't trust to others, I work with this one only and hold other cryptocurrecnies in different platforms without wallets.
If my current Altcoin wallet is Myetherwallet. The reason I use the Myetherwallet wallet for Altcoin is that the wallet is safe and very practical for me, and maybe my friends here. Even though until now I have not found a weakness in the Myetherwallet wallet. I hope this wallet remains safe and can be trusted by many people.
I have traditionally considered the best purse for the work of MEU. Because it offers the most convenient and functional solutions for comfortable work, I have no problems with it.
If you don't have a lot of coins,you can keep them on a cold multi-currency wallet...and it is even better to buy a hardware wallet and store all the cryptocurrency in it.

I am now mainly working with the purse MyetherWallet. Yes, the interface is not very convenient and understandable at once, but it perfectly compensates for this by the reliability and stability of the work.
I use the purse of Myetherwallet and the Binance exchange. I think this is the most convenient option. From a security standpoint, the Binance exchange is, of course, the best option. And most importantly, I include two-factor authentication, because security is the most important criterion for me.

I see most of the people replying here myetherwallet , i think they are just airdrop king and know nothing about crypto. They should know that myetherwallet is only for Ethereum and Ethereum based tokens. If you want to store your alts then you can use mobile apps like coinbase , coinome wallet but they have some limited no of coins. If you want to store alts , then use a high security exchanges, also you can use hardware wallets like Trezor T , Ledger Nano s for more security. And if want to store Ethereum and Ethereum based tokens then use myetherwallet , Trust Mobile application , Engine application , Intoken application.

i do use myetherwallet, but there is a lot of option for example, eido, waves wallet xlm wallet cardano wallet and many more. I been using mew for a year and i do think its simple and quiet ssfe 
I mean I am using mostly MEW (behind a hardware wallet) for my transactions but Exodus is definitely a solid option if you store main currencies and you still didn't snatch a hardware wallet for yourself.
The MyEtherWallet can contain most of the airdrop and bounty coin, because these coin are mainly based on etherum's ERC-20 platform.
However, there are some types of coin that are required on separate wallets, for example BTC use Blockchain wallet, Dogecoin use DOGE wallet, LTC use Litecoin wallet...

I'm using the MEW wallet. Because it is a more secure and the powerful platforms and you can easy to use and it is a very powerful community. 
now i using Ethos in my mobile phone to store my altcoins. this is my favourite wallet with their smartwallet! the UI/UX is awesome!

I suggest you invest in hard wallet like Ledger Nano S. Worth every penny and keep your altcoins safe. Working with MEW and natively supports many other tokens.
Its a very good point that choice good wallet for altcoin. Because hackers are all time try to take your token. I am use Myetherwallet. to keep my altcoin. Myetherwallet use very easy and it have high quality security system. You also use this wallet.
I think the most commonly used wallet is myetherwallet. Because the wallet is the easiest wallet to use. And I think it's safe enough if you use it carefully. You can also use a ledger wallet to store your altcoins. Choose what you think is easy and safe. I suggest you use ledger.
