Finally people start to understand that deeponion is a scamming and spamming factory entirely designed to enrich it's creator !

Tomorrow the last airdrop of DeepOnion will take place, and until now this crowd screaming scam scam scam didn't really get it right since everything has been goin according to plans, and until this days all promises have been kept. I guess the next few days are your last chance to prove you are right, but what if you happen to discover once more that you are not?

I don't know of whether deeponion is a scam or not because I have not been scammed by them and I don't have any evidence of such against them as I have never bought 1 DO.. LOLZZ... but the thing I can say from my experience is that if the main dev or devs are not known people, that is if he is anonymous, then you should be very careful of investing your money in it because the probability of exit scam is high with anonymous or fake dev(s)

Many have already called this coin a scam, but the project is still developing well, and more people are taking part in it. In my opinion, this is not a scam!

From peak marketcap of ~$90 million.
The marketcap today is under $20 million. That is a lot of money exited. And Devs will slowly materialize it. Why kill the goose that lays golden egg?

I thought it was a scam but its taking a long time to play out. There have been some very good exit points if the creators wanted to take the money and run. Its is a scam I wonder how much longer it will go on for.

how do you know how much capital has already exited? A lot of money has been moved from large holders in the last year, there is just no way to know where to. Obviously they wouldn't dump it all at once, they'd be stupid to do so. But please think for a second: DO has falled from a peak of 20$ to 2$ right now. That's 10x, with all the hype and "large community involvement" etc. Other coins have barely fallen (2x-4x) with rather silent communities (see monero, sky, byteball, iota). You'd expect all this support to keep the coin up wouldn't you? Unless of course somebody keeps selling and pushing the price down.....aaaand there is you long and constant dump Smiley

I am not sure about this coin, especially about the airdrop.  But I only invested several hundred dollars in relative bottom price (90%) down from its high.  So I would probably just gamble and see how it turns out.

I think it's fair to say it's not a scam, but only if you received the airdrop for free. I would caution anyone that spends their own money to invest in such early and high risk project. It's your own money, make your own decisions.

DeepOnion is somewhat confused with some people, but I think that this is not a scam or the project itself. Some people can use some tricks to deceive investors, but DeepOnion today has a good price.

that's what they said when it was 15$, then 10$, 5$, 1$. "The price is good, most undervalued coin". "It will MOON!" "Buy now or you will miss out." "200$ by the end of the year." "Do you think we will have 500 or 1000 by the end of the year?" . "Lets pump this boys".

The above is typical pump and dump rhetoric. We've seen it with penny stocks before, now we see it with shitcoins. Take a look at the deeponion thread. It's an embarrassing collection of pump and dump talk with nothing relevant in between.

People are keeping the silence because the dump is not over. Once the airdrop is done people will no longer have anything to loose if they start talking (aka get banned by the Chinese scammer that created DO)

the sad thing is a lot of the scammers are even active in the deeponion topic. or they could just be hopeless bottom feeders who have no clue  Huh I really can't tell.
they incourage each other to hold on as long as possible even though the price is dropping like crazy. when the price dropped to $4.50 they were incouraging to buy at that "great price" , then it quickly dropped to $3.50, then $2.50 and they were still saying the same thing. now the price is around the $1.50 mark and they seem to be losing some exitement while still spread the propaganda though.
I ask myself, what will it take for them to just throw in the towel? you can't be that blind to not see that this deep onion nonsense is nothing but a bubble. like every other crypto, including bitcoin, they will crash and burn rather sooner than later.

Well I believe DeepOnion is technically way better than all other privacy coins. Lots of unique features, constant development and improvement with wallet software updates coming out on a regular basis. Lots of communication from the team.  Yes, this coin has a premine but these are distributed to the community by airdrop to the ones who are willing to participate. This was clear from the beginning. There are tons of coins out there with a premine.

I don't think this is a scam at all.  I think 95% of all ICO's, if not all of them are the real scams. Most ICO's have nothing more than a token that does nothing really. A token that is used simply for collecting money from people that will start speculating on a rise of price of the token when a company tweets that they are announcing an announcement that will happen in the near future.

So a unique coin with a massive community, that is totally private, that you can mine and/or stake with it's own blockchain is worth way more than a simple ERC20 token that you cannot mine or do anything else with. Today there are a total of 48178 Erc20 Token contracts according to Etherscan.io

So no, DeepOnion I think is NOT A SCAM, but hey that's my opinion. I'm collecting this one. After the airdrop period ends this coin will be allowed to be listed on the bigger exchanges since most exchanges never list coins in airdrop-phase because of changing circulation of coins. I hope this coin will do well this year. We will find out. I'm excited for this one

It's not a privacy coin.  It has zero privacy features.  How could it be better than any actual privacy coin?

Yup. I said it from the start. The deeponion ship will sink rather sooner than later. it is now below $2. who would invest in this nonsense?  Huh
the value is dropping steadily. stop the foolishness already. Tongue

It was less than 10 cents when this "scam" thread started ...  I don't think the value of a coin has much to do whether or not it's a "scam", but citing $2 (a 2000%+ gain since this thread started) as evidence that you right from the start?  Come on, man...

Hahaha... haven't we seen this before?  Cheesy Ofcourse the price spiked in the beginnen and during the crypto craze late last year. That happened with virtually every coin some of which have already callapsed.
Deeponion's value has been steadily decreasing and there is no indication that that this downfall will stop anytime soon. I understand that if you've invested in the coin that you have some hope, but that must be dwindling by now if you have any common sense.

I think the airdrop of deeponion is a very important factor in the price of its.
After April this year, the airdrop of deeponion will be over. Not to mention whether this is a scam, but I believe the price will fall when it comes.
