I visited their website, but there is no many information about event.  It looks like some big event is being prepeared. But there is one thing makes me doubt. I'm talking about event name. As for me Crypto Revolution is very pretentious name for any event.

Can anyone here confirm this?  Someone from waves support said you could create as many seed phrase accounts you want on the waves_exchange client or the waves exchange website.
after creating addresses, log one of them and add others addresses:
"address/icon" => "switch account"=> "add account"

Well, as far as I know you cannot create new seeds for the Waves blockchain, but use old, existing seeds to create new accounts.

https://waves.exchange/sign-up/

When you click on Software.  Then you click on create password and then create account.  You would then be given a choice of a few waves addresses to choose from.  Then you click next or okay.  Then it goes to a new waves account and you get message on bottom corner to write down you seed and save it.

What do you mean you cannot create a new waves seed phrase account?  You can either do it by email/password, the nano ledger method and finally the software seed phrase method right?  There are three ways?

What I did was this.  I had used a new computer and then had my old waves seed phrase with me.  I downloaded the waves_exchange client on a new computer.  I then went to create new account and then click on software and then entered a new password and then entered my 15 old waves seed phrase into it.  I then got access to my account.  I was told just go to switch account, then add account and you could create as many seed phrase accounts as you want on the computer.  I clicked add account and then it generated me a new waves address.  Then after logging in, it tells me to make sure i write down my seed for this account.  I did that.  I then wanted to create another waves seed phrase account.  I go to switch account, add account and did the same thing.  Then I wrote down the seed phrase.

After this, I clicked on switch account to my original seed phrase account.  Then click on withdraw to transfer waves to the last waves seed phrase account I created.  I then sent the waves to it.  The amount of waves got deducted from my original waves seed phrase and is transferred to the last waves seed phrase account I created and the waves are there.  Now whenever I log into the waves client account on my computer, I type in the password and basically have access to all three of these seed accounts.   Thus the original waves seed phrase, the second waves seed phrase account and the third waves seed phrase account which received the waves from the original waves seed phrase account.  Thus my balance is now in the third waves seed phrase account.

I was told if I were to use another computer or say if i redownloaded the waves client, in order to access my new waves seed phrase account i created, i have to make sure to have the seed.  And when you try to log in the account, it would require you to create a new password... like a temporary password so to speak but you have to then type in your 15 word phrase seed.

The reason why I wanted to create another waves seed phrase account was because I wanted to move my coins from my old waves seed phrase to a new one.  So the way I did it, this is the correct way right?  Again I have the seed phrase for the old waves seed phrase, the second new waves seed phrase... eventhough i have no balance there... and finally the third seed phrase account I created where i sent my original coins to.

I was told as long as you written down the seed phrase, you can access your wallet on any computer or on the web.  Its just you need to create a new password each time.  Can a waves expert confirm this?

To Summarize, right now, I want to create another new waves phrase seed.

You can no longer create a seed phrase Waves account. Just use your new email account, this one can be restored through your email.

You cannot convert an old seed account to an email account, if you want to access your old seed account on a new computer, you always need to enter your seed.

I shouldn't have doubted about waves.exchange, at the moment I was able to take 30% of the invested funds and in the future I'll be able to take 98% of the invested funds and this is in the worst case.
True, I have not yet withdrawn these 30%, sum it turns out $ 15 only  Grin
At the present moment I have taken 78% of my investments! And this is given the fact that only about 5% of my tokens are unlocked at the moment.
Since the first message, the token has lost more than 75% in value  Shocked Shocked
I think the price will be even lower but it wont be lower than $ 1.

To Summarize, right now, I want to create another new waves phrase seed.

On a new computer, I had created a new password... and then typed in my old waves seed to get access to my account on the waves exchange client I downloaded.  This is my old waves seed phrase.  The reason being I am not accessing this waves account with my other computer which I use to always do so by typing the password.  Thus I remember as long as I have the seed phrase, I could access my account.

I then went to create an account by email.  I put in my email and new password.  Then created a new waves account this way.  However, there is no seed and I am not sure I prefer this method.  I know you could put in google authenticator as your two factor to make it safe.  I then wrote down that Two FA code since i read in case you lose your iphone.  But what if you somehow lose access to your email connected with waves?  If that ever happens, such as you lose access to the email, does that mean there is no way you can access your waves account anymore?  That is my concern with the email method.

Now I then tried to create a new waves account by software and want the phrase seed method.  The issue here is when I try to do this on the client, it gives me message

Create Account

You have already created a NOT email and you can log in to it using this link.

I then went to the website waves.exchange and after I put in a new password, I was able to get a new waves account and message showed make sure you write your seed down.  I go into the account settings and see phrase seed and encoded seed?  Do you need to write both of these down or just the phrase seed?  What about the private key?  Isn't the 15 word phrase seed the only thing you need to write down?  So now I wrote that down.

But right now... I want to do the exact same thing again and get another waves 15 word phrase seed as when I wrote down the seed just previously, I am not sure if it got exposed or not.  Thus I want a brand new 15 word phrase seed.  But the issue now is when I try to create an account via software on the client or the website, i get the same message of

Create Account

You have already created a NOT email and you can log in to it using this link.

Can someone explain how I bypass this?  Again, I created a new password for my old waves seed since I wanted to access my waves on a new computer.  Then i created a new waves account via email on the client software.  Then I went to the website waves_exchange and able to create a new password and get a brand new waves account with a phrase seed with the software method and wrote the phrase seed down.  But I would like to do this one more time as the phrase I wrote down might be exposed.  So I want to get another phrase seed via software.  Do I need to use a new web browser?  Do I erase the cookies or history on my computer or something?  Because after I do this, then I would transfer my waves from my old waves phrase seed to the new waves phrase seed.  Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here?  Again how come I can't create a new waves account and generate a new phrase seed anymore?

So I went to my waves client and clicked on Create Account via Software.  When I do this, i get message

You already created a NOT email account and you can log in it using the link.  So the password I created not long ago with my seed is the one that it is talking about.  So I cannot create another account this way on the client?  It doesn't allow me to.

Now I then went to the waves.exchange site and did the same thing as that seem to allow me to create a new account.  I put in a new password and then it showed me the new waves address.  After all this, I log into the account and on the bottom corner it say make sure you save your seed.  So I went to settings, then go to seed phrase and then enter my new password and I Agree and now see the seed phrase for this new waves account.  But what is the encoded seed phrase and what is the private key? I thought you only need the seed phrase?

This is where none of this makes sense.  I wrote down the seed phrase then log out.  I go to the same waves.exchange site and click on access my account by software and enter the password I just created.

It shows

Welcome Back

Please enter password (not seed phrase)

I enter my password for the new waves account I created... yet once I do that... I'm automatically logged into the new waves account?  How in the world is this secure?  I thought if I had to log into the exchange online, if I only choose password, then wouldn't I need to enter my seed phrase each time?  What if someone has access to my laptop then and just go to waves.exchange and had my waves password and log in just like that?  How in the world is this secure?

But how should i create a new waves account?  The thing is I don't want my waves coins with the old seed phrase I have.  I want to move all my coins in the old phrase seed to a new one.

So should I just create a new password and get a new seed phrase and thus do that?  That way it would be similar to the way I always done it?  Or should I use an email/password and use two factor authorization with google authenticator and do that it that way?  And then send the waves from the old seed phrase to the new account created by email/password?

Again I want to move my waves from my old seed phrase to a new waves account that is not associated with my old waves seed phrase.

I also mainly use my Windows PC.
You don't need to move your coins from the old account, but if you want, you can do it by sending the coins over.

Okay so if you want to create a new waves account... mainly because you want to transfer your waves and coins from your old waves account which was created with the seed phrase years ago, what do you suggest?

I created a new waves by email/password.  I did not activate two factor in it yet.  But i should do that with google authenticator?  Then once i do that... send my coins from my old waves seed to the new waves account created by email/password?  Is that what you recommend?  I want to move my coins from old waves seed phrase to a new account.

Because the only other way is to just create a new password and then be given a new seed phrase right?  So with this method its just like the old method i used?  Then i would log into my old waves account, send the waves to the new waves account address created with the new password and seed?  Which do you recommend in this situation?  Obviously you should send tiny amount to test it first right?  Looking for advice on how to move my coins from my old waves account that was created years ago via seed phrase to a new account.

So you telling me you log into your waves account on the windows desktop and iphone via your password?

Thus your way is similar to my way except im only using a windows computer?

Which method is safer to keep your waves?  I'm confused with they private keys and stuff on the new email/password.  So if someone has that, that is essentially like the seed phrase for the old method?

The new email/password way has no seed anymore. But you still have to save your private keys and stuff. Just make sure to use 2FA.

I personally only use the Waves blockchains, other chains only if I have to. All my Waves accounts are old seed ones. I can manage my Waves tokens on both desktop and iPhone.

Can someone please explain this?  I went and created an email account in the waves client that I downloaded.  Put my email and a password and then got verification code.

I now have another waves account but did is through email/password to log in.  But there is no seed phrase with this option?  So what happens if I have no access to my computer or email and password then?

I do see

APK Keys

Authorization and Sign Keys

Public Key

Address

On the Authorization and Sign Keys when I click on it, it says if I want to see my access key, I have to make sure nobody sees it and type I agree.  I did this.  But this access key literally looks like its 600 letters?  You suppose to write this down somewhere?  I cannot imagine this being the case here.  Also why can you not unhide this access key afterwards?

I also see option of CCXT and when you click on show it ask you same thing

If you disclose this information to anyone, you will lose your funds.  To proceed enter your waves exchange password and type I agree.

I did not do this part yet.  Do you need to write this key down?

I do see option of turning on two factor authenticator with mobile authenticator.  So basically to protect your waves account you do this and turn on google authenticator... so even if someone has your waves email and password, they still need the google authenticator code?  That makes sense but what if you lose your phone?

The thing that confuses me is why does this method not have a seed phrase... but what do you need to write down if you lose your email/password access and your phone etc?  That access key looks like at least 600 letters.

Can someone tell me how I can move all my coins from my waves wallet to a new waves address?

I have my waves seed phrase.  So I download the waves client on a new computer and then put a new password and then type in my seed.  So after I do this and have access to waves account.

What is the best way to transfer waves from the old seed to a complete new seed?

I see option is creating an account by email or using a password.  But email is safer?  So each time you log into your waves account in the waves client, you put your email and password to log in?  But the other method you have to create just a password.  But if you do that, is that safe?

I also read you could use two factor authentication with your phone so that way you can only log into your waves account with not only your email and password, you need the google authenticator as well?  Can someone here please tell me the best course of action here to move my waves from one waves address to another one?   Thus no matter which of the two methods I use, I will get a completely new seed right?

Has anyone here used the IOS app for waves_exchange?  Why does it has so less reviews compared to android?

There is the Waves Exchange app and then there is the WX Invest app, both official and legit.
