They are not mentioning Waves, but I would be surprised if it won't be traded from day 1. Opinions?

The topic here is much more serious. A platform made only for accredited investors. What do you think about it? Will they steal the whole ecosystem that we have built these years?
It would be so good if devs made an announcement about this news. What would be the act of waves?

it should be take in consideration with this news

I'm sure sasha will make it's way on this leagl think in the best interest for WAVES

Governments want to have control over people, imagine if the opposition parties my country invest in bitcoin, waves and other cryptocurrency?

The opposition it would have sufficient funds to make a decent campaign and could win the elections

I'm not sure it is possible to do 2FA without centralisation which would create a massive security risk - something which runs counter to the whole principle of cryptocurrency.  That is why no other major coin has implemented it yet.  Perhaps someone will come up with a way of doing it securely but it may never happen.

I didn't realise that was the case. I was aware that no other wallet s have 2fa but all exchanges have it.  Maybe having no 2fa is the risk we will have to take for a proper decentralised exchange.  I guess I can do as someone suggested and just put small amounts into my trading wallet and then hopefully if possible in the future 2fa might come.

That is the issue with 2fa.
An other way to add some extra security on the lite wallet, against keyloggers, is to add a clickable PIN code with numbers shaking. The code remain client sided.
Yeah, That would be nice! Like Trezor PIN code right? We can create the PIN at the time we register our account in Lite wallet or something like that, Then each time we get random numbers on screen, We click on numbers or PIN we select at the time of registering the account.

Yes, like Trezor PIN !

How does wallet works? I need to send coins from my exchange to wallet address? So, I have coins still online, in my online Waves wallet.

Is possible to save coins on hardware which is not connected to web? For me it's the same if I have coins on exchange or in online wallet. Everything is not safe.

You can download the lite wallet here:
https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/releases

Copy the files on your offline computer, generate an address to receive your coins.
Then collect and save the seed on a paper.
Here you go Wink

It should be or at least be part of this revolution, some months ago Sasha was part of a discution with the authorities about that,
and I think Waves help them to put it in place, so it will be part of the game.

Alias name is a great feature.

Congratulations Waves Team.

its almost like openledger.

I wish Burger King endorse the Whoppercoin in my country  Grin

I also wish that the Burger King bid the Whoppercoin here in my Country. At least I will not die of hunger. Hehehehe  Grin. I am eagerly waiting for it.

you really have to wait for its price to go up. i wouldn't buy burger king for 1700 whoppercoins, its going to be a waste of coins when you see in the future that its going to be less than 1700 for 1 burger.

Are there waves generated tokens which have been listed on exchanges?

Wagerr (WGR) and WavesGo (WGO) just got listed on Yobit.

Don't Know about any other tokens.

Tokes (TKS) is a waves token that is on Bittrex.  There's also a bunch listed on a new exchange called Tidex.  The volume isn't all that great but it's better than nothing.  If I remember correct, there's no trading fees on Tidex either.

Don't forget to register your desired Waves alias before someone else does it Smiley

An alias is like a domainname, once someone registered it, it's gone...
What is the purpose of the alias??

So someone can send Waves to "carloscorreia" instead of 3PfhydfgfatuyUuf6yhffguuucembddCgduFgx5336

You can send Waves or tokens to "magnet" already Smiley
