Yes the waves coin have a faster transaction and low fee but in bitcoin have a high fee and take more than 1 or 2 days to complete the transaction.

Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency. 1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin. I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD. Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives. Usually the first coin people buy. It's time for a new coin to take over, some day. I think Waves is the best!

Bitcoin is number one currency for transactions but whereas Waves is just a altcoin in the field i think there is no comparison between both these coins
I don't see any altcoin beating bitcoin now. And I don't think that will happen. Bitcoin will always stay on top.

I support WAVES cuz it's my countryman, and there goes some positive predictions about this coin. And also as was noted it provides the fastest transaction.

It's compicated to compare BCT with altcoins. Yes, waves net is fast, with low fees. But for today it is impossible to move bitcoin from its place, it is dangerous and it would rock the cryptoworld. It is not stable yet and not ready for these changings.

There is a long way for the Wave to overcome bitkoyn, it is not impossible, but at the moment it is impossible to compare, as far as I know.

I think that Bitcoin stays classic cryptocurrency, but is's not perfect. For example, i like Ripple, i think that it's grow at the end of beta.
I think there's even no competition, it's more like a fly with an elephant!!! 
It is really cool if you already have some bitcoins, but at the same time the fee for getting in this is too high, also transactions commisions, they are damn really huge. So yeah, everyone fishes for bitcoin, but waves for sure have some advantages these days.
I really think on bitcoins but the disadvantages on transacting on bitcoins are too high.Maybe on that case i will go with Waves but on investing and holding i will choose bitcoins.
