In the reality, it will be ethereum.Just think of it that ethereum is the second highest valued crypto in the cryptocurrency world, and waves is just starting and even though it is rising ethereum will not be threatened in waves. And the waves is very popular in the cryptoworld. And now the ethereum is accepted in the community and by the government.

I choose both of them for long term investment. Anyways ethereum is widely accepted in community comparing to waves. So its quite better to have portfolio in ether chain right now, comparing to Waves chain.

Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

It is very hard for Waves to break the record of Ethereum. I am afraid it will prove to be a very difficult, even insurmountable hurdle, to overcome for Waves if this is their target. I would rather that Waves will grow in their own pace and become big without trying to beat anybody else's record but its own selves.

Waves is good coin and very useful but it's not new Ethereum. Their decentralized exchange is still unusable, no volume, too many bugs. It's promising in long term
There is no a lot of demand about use the waves decentra;ized exchange site, rather than dex and ether delta was better. Because i have bad experience with dex rather than ether delta. and ether delta was more easy to use.

Well I go for Waves DEX.
And new GUI is coming, of course new ng protocol. Those can make Waves DEX much better than other DEXes.

Waves is a heaven for scam. We don't even know the future of the platform. While Ethereum has a huge and open community already dedicated to betterment of the platform.

Both coins are very good and both coins also have a very good platform. but I prefer Ethereum because the ethereum platform is nicer than Waves platform. and I think that will survive is Ethereum.

Waves not compare with Ethereum because ETH is second place after Bitcoin. no any cryptocurrency beat to ETH. ETH daily trade top volume after BTC. many crypto ICO start with ETH. Waves is a good coin but not comparison with ETH.

I think ethereum is better too. It profits from the boom of ICOs and tokenization.

And there are very friendly tools like myetherwallet and etherdelta.

Waves good, but i think eth is better.
Eth is always the best when compared to any altcoin except btc. Can be seen with almost altcoin using eth services.

Looking at the remarks of Sasha (CEO of Waves Platform), I cannot think WAVES is hostile to Ethereum.
Rather, Waves seems to be looking for a way to coexist with ETH, just like a side chain.

from what ive seen ethereum developers and waves are friends rather than enemies and both share the same goal of making cryptocurrencies go mainstream. i hope for both to be successful. Im fairly confident that waves will also reach similar market caps as ethereum as both have great developers and more recently waves has been showing excellent potential. I look forward to waves ng release.

Hard decision to make really. For now ethereum is far more ahead of waves. Because eth is around for a long time and have a decent value but before too long waves will much more popular and gain some value. In couple of years waves will be better than eth in my opinion.

I think yes because wave Coin is really a fantastic coin and anyone can understand well that hiw the wave Coin is spreading his market in the cryptocurrency world .
I am seeing this coin since 5 months which is slowly slowly increasing with Better stability .
Here it Should be noticed by me that the owner of the wave coin amd team is much active to advertise thier coin Because I seen that signature campaign running in this forum with many numbers of users , so you can understand well that how the team is using money to spread in the marketing .
And also here we can see that the technology of the wave is also much better , so we can see it as a coin like Etherium of future.

Waves and Ethereum currently is good platform. But Ethereum still better that waves If seen also from some ICO projects mostly use Etheneum token based and ICO based on ETH mostly success. There are even successful entry into the top list in the market cap.

I'm not sure but my staking is on the Ethereum only. There is big reason behind this and that waves nature of working. The way it offers the coins to be formed for the different tokens is weirded to me. It devalues sometimes because junks might be made in the future and waves will loose the value due to unwanted investment or spam investment what I mean when I say unwanted. Ethereum is based on the private keys with full control of wallet and the feature of adding the custom tokens which are made by the ICO itself. Ethereum just act as medium to control the ICO tokens and trade them or exchange them. That makes it unique and nothin can replace that. :-)

both are good platform but i would go for etherium because ive been used more etherium than waves and i liked to join bounties that pays erc20 token because they are has a more value compared to waves assets and etherium is far more popular and widely been used today compared to waves. but waves is much cheaper than etherium.
