any hope/eta on fixing automatic withdrawals? I would rather you to focus more time on that then manualy doing this as it will take you till 2015 to process everything by hand

Of course no new withdraws are working.
I have stated over and over that bitcoind is in a constant state of non-use by the system because it either in startup/wallet loading mode, or locked up due to the latest transfer request.

Let me repeat again.
During startup, bitcoind does not respond to RPC calls.
Once it is up, I make a transfer. The moment I make the transfer, no matter what hardware is provided, it goes to 100% resources and fails to respond to any RPC requests, even after the transaction eventually makes it to the network.

But you doesnt explain with it that manual withdraws stopped working right?

Im back to where i was before... only at the end of queue. ukyo canceled my withdraw because of my stupid request he should do it in case "he cant withdraw". Because it would have been better to have shares than bitcoins i cant use. I noticed that cancellation way too late because no email was sent about it and now the time was too short to buy the things at bitfunder i wanted. Back into queue and wait again.

ukyo... whats the date of withdraws you work on and how many withdraw requests are still open now?

I just don't understand how it's possible that Ukyo is 'fixing' weExchange's withdrawal system, while there is up to today still no withdrawal that will not receive error : ' could not connect to 2nd stage server' (I just made another small one today). All new withdrawals will just add to the list of manual withdrawals.

In my opinion, the most likely explanation for this fiasco is that Ukyo's bitcoin reserves are indeed running low, and that this problem is being 'resolved' by postponing the withdrawals.

The moment of truth is upon us guys. ASICMINER dispersed the divs for this week. Lets see how true is the theory of Ukyo being out of funds. Unrelated to WeExchange problems yet directly connected if he indeed lacked the funds.

Drumrolls and alot of popcorn......

I don't quite get this.

1) What is this theory of Ukyo being out of funds based on? Source?

2) What does the AM dividend prove or disprove about this theory?

1- Based on the how long withdrawals are stuck against how long would it take to process them manually against the theory that Ukyo simply does not have the funds and that is why his bitcoin client goes 2-stager haywire

2- Ukyo has been for a while in charge of ASICMINER PT of Bitfunder and he indeed delay the divs for an entire week in the past, If it happens this week as well the theory of him running low on funds and trying to stall until more comes in is getting a stronger foot.

1) It is not in Ukyo's interest to be dishonest about the situation. He wants to stay in the bitcoin business and if he lied about this, that would really destroy his reputation. If he had not wanted to save his reputation and stay in business, he wouldn't have bothered to post in this thread.

2) If your theory is correct, he could delay divs in order to pay something more urgent with those funds. But assuming there are no funds available, what would be more urgent than paying the divs? If divs are delayed, many people complain and it is very obvious to everyone. (On the other hand, if he pays the divs on time  that does not prove anything either.)

I'm getting extremely impatient about this bullshit.
1- Why the fuck did bitfunder use WE in the first place?
2- Why the fuck did WE not post a note in the site stating the withdrawal issue?
3- What the fuck can we do about this?

1- Same developer, Ukyo
2- Was suggested a long time ago, Ukyo's excuse for not doing this is that the error does not occur all the time.
3- Absolutely nothing, Complain but try not to piss Ukyo off very much because if he went Nefarious (pun intended  Cheesy), Say bye bye to your coins.

And less swearing, We have children around, thnx.

Yes, I was helping with asicminer. Divs were only delayed that one week because of FriedCat shorting the div amount and I was waiting for the rest.

I think we will be done with the 23rd today. The next few days had a lot less transactions as I mentioned before.

I check my WeExchange account morning and evening (since Oct. 28, two weeks now). Don't worry, I'll post as soon as my withdrawal goes through.

Over 2 weeks to withdraw , or a month, is such bullshit. Really.  It's pretty lame that a warning isn't placed on the site. I moved money to WeExchange for nothing in the end even, I didn't even need to move it there, and now limbo. Could have at least warned people Ukyo that this has been going on for a month, on your site, before they deposit??? No excuse not to at all.  So frustrating...

Hi Ukyo,

- A question not about withdrawal  Wink

I got my weexchange account verified another day - as a Chinese user. But my linked BF account still cannot buy anything. Any thoughts? I trust you and your site and just cannot wait to buy the cheap shares there

bitcoind actually has a few issues, such as with multisig or large wallets.

Bitcoin tech is much more immature than people realise. It's not ready for the big time quite as much as people think.

There are probably many issues. But also the whole thing does not seem to be scalable, given the fact that for a full-fledged client one has to keep all previous transactions (the whole blockchain) on a computer. If you imagine that one day bitcoin aspires to be a generally accepted international currency, this looks insane to me.

Of course there are clients that do not need the whole blockchain but still a significant number of clients have to keep the full blockchain so that security can be maintained.

Is there any possible solution in sight that the developers are working on?

If you check in the developer section or subscribe to the dev mail lists you'll see that this is an area undergoing much discussion and development.

libbitcoin, But still no interested people to use, just people bashing bitcoind for not being able to scale.  Roll Eyes
