Yes, gambling is like rollercoaster which provides fun and satisfying adrenaline sensation but it will also make anyone feel pain when they fall.
It just that when we gamble within limits and are not too careless, there is little chance of something bad happening that makes someone regret it, even if it happens, it doesn't really make things difficult for someone under any circumstances.
When we get pleasure or even satisfaction, there is always money behind it all and we have to really let it go to pay for what makes us feel pleasure and satisfaction.

You are right and indeed when the time comes we must be able to consider and make the best decisions for the enjoyment that we might be able to get more usefully in old age which may not last much longer.
Sometimes people forget about long-term thinking and they only think about and prioritize what can provide pleasure now without thinking about tomorrow.

Usually people would only quit on the time that they literally cant be able to gamble, just because they dont have the money that they could really be able to spend but on the time that they do really still have the funds

It isnt really on the age you do have before you should quit gambling because neither young or old, you are that susceptible to addiction on which this would really be that resulting

Retiring is something that you could ask for those long time gamblers that had been playing and become that sustainable, for new ones? I dont think that it would fit out.

I have been gambling for a very long time and have been among gamblers almost my entire life. Let me tell you something, I haven't seen a gambler who gambles responsibly, at least not how the definition goes. People rage and lose more, it's very common.

But there are people who come out of the bad session and are able to focus on other things while others (addicted) just cannot forget the loss and lose interest in other things such as their job, family, etc and that's when gambling becomes a problem.

So, a more relevant question should be "Why do you want to quit gambling" rather than "when to quit".

Yes, gambling is supposed to be for fun but the problem is that people don't see gambling like that way. They see gambling as a way to make quick money. They use gambling to make money from various gambling games, which makes them addicted. These people continue to gamble until they are old, which is not recommended because old people should choose to enjoy life and not deal with things related to worldly pursuits. But it depends on each person's perception because they may still gamble when they are old, thinking they are wiser in gambling. Playing gambling when you are old or have not retired from gambling is a choice for each person, but we should think about it carefully, including thinking about all the risks we will take if we still gamble in old age.

Yes I agree with you, if they still have money and an ongoing income so that they have money, it doesn't matter. It's just that I think it's not about age but about mindset, they will retire from gambling maybe after thinking about their lives who will have their own families to support  because generally gambling will make bad relationships and this is prone to happen, but back to what I said at the beginning, where if they still have endless money maybe it's not a problem with their habit of always gambling, even though they are old,  because everyone has their own way to enjoy their lives  It's just that it's wrong if people who don't have enough money still force themselves to gamble to their own detriment, and they should stop and justify that bad mindset..

Gambling should be for fun only but since it generates money once we win, the eagerness to play will become addicted because it gives you a satisfaction once you get your winning prize, right? you can suggest other activities that's profitable but the question is, Does a person entertain once they do investment and trading? not all of them has an idea on that and maybe gambling is their forte that's why they keep doing it over and over again.  People has their different taste when it comes to hobbies and types of their enjoyment but this gambling activity is the most risky at all.

When we talk about gambling being fun, aren't there many other activities that are more fun than gambling? Such as sports, traveling or other things, which do not carry too high a risk.
And when we talk about gambling being about profit, aren't there many other activities that are more profitable, such as trading, doing business or investing? because gambling is not profitable at all.

So in my opinion, the reason behind most people playing gambling is not about pleasure, but rather that they want to gain profits instantly, without having to work or make any effort.

However, there is nothing wrong with someone also considering that gambling is part of their enjoyment, but when someone already thinks so, then for that person to find other pleasures apart from gambling, this will be something difficult.

Gambling is meant to be played for fun, right? That's the overall reason why most people gamble, and it has some other benefits too, like relieving stress and helping kill bored moments. When ever one sees himself or herself grow to the age where they no longer have fun with only things, what's the point of continuing to engage in such things?
 
The moment someone has grown up to the stage that they can no longer have fun from gambling, rather they will be addressing it as when I was younger or when I used to this and that, at that point in life, you don't need anyone to advise you that you need to leave gambling and focus on other things in life instead of taking yourself to a place where you can increase your blood pressure due to losing, which could kill you faster.

That makes sense because as long as we have our own money and we're using it to whatever purpose we want it to be, there's no problem if we're going to gamble it when we're already old or while we're still young. I think that the older people have been composed and stable already and they can easily gamble with their money.

While we're young, I think that we've got more freedom but we don't have much resource to gamble. And that's why when we get older, that's the time we're like out of the cage and we're doing anything what we can with our money. About retirement, someone can dictate his age of retirement but then can also get out of it freely, anytime.

As long as people are gambling with their own money and that is an amount they can afford to lose then I do not think their age matters that much, after all someone that is young is confronting all kind of new problems in their lives they did not had on the past and this generates a lot of pressure and stress and they need a way to vent those emotions, and one way to do this is through gambling, as that adrenaline and excitement you can get out of it is not something you can find that easy on your everyday life.

I believe gambling is more suitable for people in their 50s or above when they are retired from work or have their own businesses and have plenty of time to spend on any activities they like but only if they have financial freedom and enough wealth to enjoy gambling without having to worry about their losses, etc. When a person is young and energetic, they tend to be busy working or creating their careers and future and trying to make as much money as possible, and that money they can use to enjoy their life when they retire.

So, older ages are better for gambling and it's a wrong mindset if a person thinks that gambling isn't for old people, because it's better for people who are old and have good financial status and can easily afford to spend as much money as they want instead of people who are struggling to earn money.

It doesn’t require much effort or physical strength to partake in it removing whatever limitations old people could have encountered. I can think of several activities that could give more thrill and is more fun and engaging than gambling.

Some how we can relate the youth age and activities in such age to how we handle gambling styles with the old age. There are people who are old and they still gamble responsibly and not being greedy which can also be traced to how they were playing while at young age. So that is what we have to consider in old age, there are some old people who are very stubborn and won't yield to some reasonable gambling advise, they would bet what money they get from their pension and begin to rely on their children for financial support till the next month. That is not good planning. So as a youth, you can plan how you want to live your life at old age whether you want to continue gambling or to retire out of gambling.

Exactly, it is true and it has become a fact that responsible gamblers mean that they can manage all their gambling activities well, they can control everything including themselves and their mindset, they will not be too excessive in terms of winning because in terms of expectations they do not put too high expectations there, and that means I would say that responsible gamblers they still have a good level of awareness which ultimately makes them able to take some precautions so that unexpected things do not happen, especially addiction.
