Well, if you are referring to both online and physical, I don't think that at age 65, it is not appropriate for that age to gamble. Why? Because I've known quite a few elders, including my grandparents, at that age they treat gambling as their past time only, as their entertainment, and as such, they don't waste too much money, money that is enough to make them happy. For example, their bonding with their friends is gambling, and not every time gambling games should involve money. Sometimes you just need to enjoy the game, and thats what the elders do. There are more older gamblers that play because of the fun and not about money. So I don't think that at age 65 you should limit a person from gambling. With money involved, yes, but in games only used in gambling, they should enjoy it as they age we can't stop them on what is making them happy, maybe just guide and limit them.

Age is based on the different gamblers,to me it’s better to make the gambling retire after the age of 50 years.Because after the 30 years it’s hard to handle the financial problem including the family expenses,the medical expenses of the old age parents.So it’s better to quit the gambling after the age of 50 years.Already we had enough problem during the age of 50 years,So the gambling loss will not allow us to live a peaceful life.So take a deep breath at the age of 50 and retire from the gambling.Many people at the age of 50 years struggle to live using their holding money,So the gambling will not fit for them at the age of 50 years is my opinion in this.

Really at 40?

At 40 some people are just joining gambling in some jurisdiction because of unemployment or out of job frustration, they believe to try their hands and luck on gambling. Some people gamble for this reason, the reason of frustration and the age of 40 is mostly the season that is most difficult with challenges and I don't know if there is a connection with the saying that a fool at 40 is a fool for ever. Perhaps is the most difficult time to take a decision of old age but in this hard economy, it appears more people are still gambling and looking for luck in gambling at such age.

A gambling doesn't differentiate old and young age to participate in a gambling, I do believe in gambling with your wisdom not a gambling without good predictions, old people who enjoy gambling for leisure or entertainment do play gambles and it's not all because they want money but only because of they are catching funds, so therefore I believe that gambling have to do with luck and it doesn't have an age bracket that you will get to before you retire in a gambling, a gambling retirement is strictly base on mindset and decisions it's your decision that will make you to be retire in gambling, but what that is not encouraging is for someone who is at age of 12 years and 13 years to engage in a gambling, I think its not accepted in most civilised countries.

There is know discrimination in gambling weather young or old are allowed to gamble so in as much as gambling is a game of risk there are also people who plays it for fun, however most of the old men still loves to play gambling because of the joy they derived from it and it also serves them as a reminder or feeling that they are still young because there is one old man I no that loves to gamble so much and he told me that the only thing that makes him happy is gambling so that's why he loves gambling.

Perhaps the reason why most persons believe that gambling is not for old is that they have the mindset that the old men could be reckless in times of there gambling attitude and there is every possibility of becoming an addict on the process.

If a man isn't still sensible enough at 40 to overcome some petty sentiments about how payable gambling is, then he isn't just ready to let it out at all..
An aged man wouldn't wanna stress himself more by gambling away what's supposed to be "a life saver" to him - since he ain't working no more... If an addiction gets to that level, there's absolutely nothing to do about it... Especially if the person involved is an average man.

Well majority of the hobby and vices will most likely stop if you have an illness. Most of us fear death of illness and the things we enjoy like gambling will not be enjoyable anymore if we a threat in our life. But I think one reason why gamblers quit doing gambling is the interest of gambling, sometimes spending so much time on things makes it boring given that there's not much to see or to expect from doing it. Gambling feels repetitive for me after playing it for years, the adrenaline rush I get before is not that much compared today as per my personal experience. I agree that we all would quit and I think that there are only few of us would quit because of an old age.

There would be no limit as long you do like and as long you dont get bust up yourself on doing gambling because this is where people do usually stop on the time that they dont have already the money to spent.
It is really just that a very common approach that you would really be that stopping when you dont have money but if you do have and able to sustain yourself then there's no such thing about stopping.
Doesnt matter on what the age you do have as long you are capable on putting up some funds or deposits then you would really be doing it. Somewhat people could freely make out deposits according into the likes
they should really be that always mindful on what are the things that they should gonna do on which they would really be that focusing that much into pouring up funds into gambling

Their are many factors that can lead to the end of playing gambling In aged people.  Sometimes what stops aged people from gambling is when they stops having interest for the sport they love, this can reduce their interests for gambling.  Another thing that makes old people not to have too much interest in gambling is illness, this can make them not to have much Interest for gambling because of struggling for life. I didn't know there were people who thought there is an age you should retire from gambling, because in my perception, gambling is much more popular among older people than among the young ones, especially elders. Gambling isn't a kind of hired job which those who engage in it retire when their service years are over however, I think there should age limit in gambling sites that should not allow people above 65 years to engage in gambling. At 65 years a man isn't a expected t gamble because I think the effects of gambling isn't supposed to be experienced by aged people as it might medically   be very bad for their health. Wether it's a choice to gamble at old age or not, I don't I think it's good from people over 65 years.

The set of people that are suppose to be enjoying gambling are the elderly people. When you retired from work and you nothing doing, you may choose to gamble for enjoyment and relaxation. It depends on everyone, but I don't think there is anything like a time to retire from gambling. You can choose to stop gambling whenever you want, and if you like, you can keep on gambling till your old age. I just see it as a choice, so it's up to everyone to decide. I am meant to understand that gambling is for everyone irrespective of the age bracket. All humans are free to gamble as long as it pleases them and they derive satisfaction from it but the only thing I can say that stands as a barrier to gambling can be regional or country laws. Possibly a country might prohibit her citizens from gambling and therefore puts a law against gambling and punishment for those who goes against it and another thing I think is that a country can also put laws restricting some certain age bracket from gambling and as such punishment would be awarded to those who goes against the laws restricting stipulated age from gambling in that country.
Therefore, age factor I think is not a criteria for gambling retirement. People are free to gamble irrespective of their age but the only thing I think can stand as a challenge is their various country laws prohibiting gambling exercise or having clauses restricting some certain age bracket from gambling.

That's all rubbish, gambling is for everyone no matter how old they are, what ethnicity or race they belong to, which country or region they live in, or even which religion they follow unless their religion forbids it. There is absolutely no need for retirement from gambling as long as it is not affecting your finances negatively and you are not being affected mentally or physically because of it. If you gamble to have some fun and you can afford to do that, there is no need to retire and you can keep gambling as long as you are alive.

Different people will have different perceptions about gambling, someday it's not for females, some say that old people shouldn't gamble, and some might even say that it's not for young people, but there is no necessity for any of these to be true and it all depends on the person who is gambling or decides to gamble.

It's not about age, I can't say for sure that you or anyone else can stop gambling or retire at a certain age.
