$1,000,000 is a big amount of money. Sure, Bitcoin should be the priority to invest with that huge money. The rest can be invested in Ethereum. $10,000,000 is a the space equivalent for me to even imagine. Hypothetically if I have $1000000 then I must invest 50 percent in Bitcoin 40 percent in Ethereum and rest 10% in other altcoins (should be top position). Here I will not give myself to invest in any coin you provide. But I wouldn't go wrong with 50% of my bitcoin investment as I'm the highest risk taker and will take the risk between bitcoin and ethereum as I have the highest reliance on these coins.
It's only $1M not $10M though it's still a huge amount but nice composition you got there however with all of those amounts, are you sure? You can't even believe to have a money like that, so why will you only use it all for investment and why not use it first to fulfil your dreams? You know buying the luxurious items and stuffs. I'm pretty sure that once you avail all of them, there will still be plenty of money left in your stash.I still won't use all of them though but I will set aside for emergency use and for the regular expenses. It is easier said than done. Many persons make estimate as though they will really put in such amount at once into altcoin investment. It's funny some persons are good at giving advise but they will never try it on themselves, even if they have such amount in their possession. However $1 million is too much for gambling with altcoin. There are several altcoins out there that might have lasted for years but the intention of the developers are for scam purpose, so be careful with the choice you make in altcoin. Scammers and hackers are becoming more innovative with new ideas, and will do everything possible to make their project properly presentable and look legit. The only coin I can recommend half of that amount for is Bitcoin.
I believe that investing in altcoins is akin to angel investing in startups, whereas investing in Bitcoin is more comparable to investing in Apple. The potential for capital growth is greater with altcoins, but the associated risks are significantly higher than those in Bitcoin.

Why wouldn't you just put your money into bitcoin. That should easily 2-5-10x your money. Too many people try to strike it rich with altcoins but there is so much downside risk I don't understand unless you have massive bitcoin holdings already and just looking for a gamble. Otherwise why wouldn't you consider bitcoin?
Like I don't think so I can have upto this amount of money and invest all on altcoins, I may try as much as possible to divide them into two, one aspect should go on bitcoin investment only while the remaining can be splitted into several altcoins as I wish to have them, we cannot manage to put all investments on altcoins, that is inappropriate to me, I don't think I can afford to get into that risk so high, having my investments on altcoins when I have no bitcoin already invested.
If you asked same question couple years ago, I'd have said altcoins (and if I had invested this money in alts actually, I'd have lost most of it by now) but after lessons learned over this lapsed time now I'd stick with Bitcoin and 25% for Ethereum.

put all that to Ethereum and stake it to some various retroactive project if im being honest, right now most of the coin already increasing so high anyway, like you're little too late to the party when everyone already dumping you're still about to get in.
