What, are you high (on weed)? Norwegian government is seen as very restrictive against refugees from the third world nations.

I don't think so. From what I have heard, the Muslim population in Norway, and especially that in Oslo, is growing very rapidly. Violent crimes by Muslims (especially rapes) have increased by manifold since 2000.

Which countries in the world do you think are the most peaceful and peace-loving?

Iceland comes to my mind. Just judging how peaceful this country looks like and how people friendly are it seems that Iceland is one of most peaceful country in the world. Also, I haven't heard anything from the international news that Iceland had a major issue within their country. So, I think I'll consider it as the best country in the world.

Iceland is a very isolated region, similar to New Zealand. That offers them the natural immunity against the rapefugees from third world nations such as Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. But recently the left-wing liberal government which is ruling the island nation has been trying hard to change the demography of the country. Check this:

I think it will be Denmark. It's a most peacefull country in the world.

But Japan also progress in their position.

Thanks!

Denmark the only western European nation to act tough against the refugees from the third world nations. Perhaps that is the reason. The other Scandinavian countries, such as Norway and Sweden (Iceland also is on its way) are lost for ever.

Canada without dude, Canada invest so much money in his citizens and in healt that its consider one of the most happy countries to live in my opinion.
Canada without doubt is the most peaceful developed country in the entire world, sometimes i forget that they are even there, They are exactly like the USA was prior to the World Wars, they are very introverted minding their own business which am sure a lot of countries in the entire world can learn something from especially the USA, Germany and Britain.

Canada is impressive given that it's the second largest country in the world.  But I'd tent to agree that New Zealand is peaceful, given that it's a tiny country will less than 5 million people.  I'd put Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan up there too.

Bhutan is one of the most peaceful countries in the world. But can't say the same thing about Nepal. During the 1990s, tens of thousands of people died there as a result of the civil war. Even now, there are racial tensions between the highlanders and the lowland inhabitants. And speaking about Tibet, it is no longer a sovereign nation.

I've visited Iceland, New Zealand, Austria, and Denmark...all are very friendly, inviting, and jovial places to be. This ranking has been compiled every year since 2007. Check out how low ranked some of the G8 countries are...surprising but not shocking.

I agree it is surprising but not shocking. Maybe of the G8 countries have used a policy of intervention and activism to "keep us safe" or in reality keep searching for that golden oil. Anyways to touch on the main topic here, many small European nations are very peaceful. They've had moments in the past but for the last 50 or so years it's been a great time of propriety for many small EU nations. - not looking at you Greece. Tongue

The 3 most peaceful countries on my list are japan, canada and switzerland. I've been to japan and it really has a peaceful ambiance to it, everything is in order and in the right place, the people are disciplined and clean. The other two are places that i havent been to yet but since they are both low on criminal rates i considered placing them in my top 3 most peaceful countries.

Japan and Switzerland is definitely up there, but not Canada. I would rather substitute Canada with New Zealand. Among the big countries, only Japan will qualify as a peaceful nation. The crime rates are quite low, and the people are very friendly (although according to the latest studies, around 57.63% of the weirdness around the world originates from Japan).
