I'm amazed to read on Wikipedia that Spain is less dangerous than South Korea. My experiences are telling the opposite.
Japan's probably the safest country in the world, thanks to its aging population. Switzerland used to be fantastically peaceful, but some of its neighbors aren't and the borders are easy to cross.

Really??

My country are in position 78? And Greece is in position 73? Senegal in position 60?

Brazil is in position 100?

Wow, my country are in a good position.

Something Shocked me, why the hell is the United States in position 114?

Why dont you read the formula for evaluation before you start asking the question? They are blatantly stated there.

My country is in number 6 spot and I agree with that. People tend to be mean to each other, but it rarely escales further than verbal insults - even in nighclubs and bars. No terrorism, no rioting, no civil wars, no massive ghettos, no mass shootings, no religious fundamentalists. Perhaps we would be even higher, if we just left NATO.

I am suprised though, that Sweden (fucking Sweden) is still at number 18 (falling from number 8 in 2010), while United States is at number 114. Ill give you that. Swedish government already effectively lost control over some urban areas of the country, which would be unthinkable in the first world country just a few years ago.

Researchers might not have all the data, when calculating. Otherwise, Scandinavia (except for Iceland) would be much worse off. Political correctness perhaps?

Which countries in the world do you think are the most peaceful and peace-loving?

For me the most peaceful country in the world is new zeland because it has low crime rate and the citizens their are family oriented.

Yes, I also never heard of conflicts in this country. And this is a sign that everything is peaceful and safe there.
I'm very sorry that I can not say the same about the country I live in now.

Netherlands would be the top. Not only that they're closing almost of their prison cells due to lack of inmates. They do give time to rehabilitate all their citizens especially those who committed crime for them not to do it again.

Every countries has the chance to be peaceful as long as people and the government help each other for the good of all. But, I guess this is far from happening.

Island still remains the most peaceful  country of the world. How they were able to achieve this is a mystery to every one but it is not far from tolerance, love and endurance with one another. The people of the remaining countries should emulate inland so there will be peace on earth.

There is a Scandinavian country, I can't remember which one right now, that doesn't have a military budget.

If there were ever a qualifier for the most peace loving country in the world, I believe that would be it.

You may be referring to Iceland. They don't have a standing army. So they have agreements with other nations such as the United States and Norway, to protect their borders. Although there is no army, Iceland maintains a small peacekeeping force, coast guard and armed police contingents.

A peaceful country according to me is indonesia, in indonesia many differences but still one, indonesia is made up of many different languages, tribes, races, and religions
You can find even more peaceful countries in which there is no interest in other more developed countries. It is because of the fact that the interests of the world leaders do not overlap, so even Indonesia is considered a calm country.

Iceland is the first country which comes to my mind. Criminal rate is very low here, I heard that people in Iceland aren't locking their house doors.
I think New Zealand is also peaceful country. I can't remember when I heard bad news from New Zealand last time.
Also, small European countries like San Marino, Liechtenstein, Faroe Islands and etc is also safe and peacful (i think).

I am afraid that things are about to change in Iceland. They are importing a lot of Muslim immigrants from the middle east nowadays. So far, they have behaved themselves, since the population is low. Once the population crosses a certain threshold, they will start beheading the native men and raping the native women.

LOL, like in Sweden? They actually already have no go zones for police there.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNEZQTSJv4Y

When I saw news about girls in concert getting "balled" (men surround the girl to prevent people from coming close and see, and take turns molesting the victim), I was really appalled that these would happen after they took in and fed those ingrates.

No such reports yet from Iceland but if the trend continues, they could be on their way to being a rapefugee camp.

The first three that come to mind are some places in Canada, Japan, Switzerland etc.
In general the farther North up from the equator in general the more peaceful it is relative to the Southern hemisphere in my opinion.
Which is why Iceland Greenland and other Nordic countries Netherlands etc seem to be relatively peaceful compared to African countries and the Middle East area.

As soon as I saw the question, Switzerland came to my mind. I lived there for 3 years for school. It was very peaceful and clean. My friends and I, walked outside at night, we didn't feel dangerous. But we still be cautious. Because it was too peaceful, sometimes it was boring too. lol

Switzerland is one country I would like to visit someday. I been in the States, Canada and Asia. But I don't know why I was attracted to Switzerland though. Once thing I've notice though is that the culture is a blend of German, French and Italian which makes it culture very interesting. I think there are a lot of multinational companies their because of the low taxes. So there would be a lot of opportunities if someone decided to work there. In Asia, I think Japan and Korea are the best place and most peaceful.

Peaceful countries do not exist. If you dig into the history of any country that ever was necessarily sins. The man is very aggressive and constantly being with someone at war. Only the existence of nuclear weapons keeps many countries from war. At the moment the Nordic countries are friendly enough, but it was also the era of the Vikings.
