The Nordic region/Scandinavia are very peaceful countries, low murder rate, people are kind to each other mostly. No worse or better than Canada or New Zealand I think...
I am currently living in New Zealand, I've been to many countries, and I feel this is the peaceful countries countries.
New Zealand is a very peaceful country, and there is a reason for that. It is located in the Southern Pacific, and it is extremely difficult for the illegal immigrants and the rapefugees to get there. That is the reason why New Zealand has remained free of crime, till now.
Maybe Canada, i think so...
Switzerland and The Vatican should be the most peaceful countries in the word in my opinion.

I think Switzerland is the most peaceful country. I live there 2 years in a university. they are a powerful nation, and yet they haven't invaded any third world nation unlike the european union member countries.

I think Vietnam, the country where I live, is the most peaceful. In my country there are no terrorist attacks and bloody guns killing people. My country is not a multi-party regime so there is no cleansing between the parties. People live peacefully under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.I do not know but I have heard before that your country is indeed part of peaceful countries along with Qatar, Uruguay, and Sweden I think. Even your country is under communism, still it is peaceful. But I do not know if your country is good in economics though it is not part of the story right now. I want to travel into your country sometime and hope that your other South East Asian nation would be like what you have right now.
As far as I am concerned, i never heard before any country that is peaceful or doesn't have issues regarding peace or problems in their country. But one thing is for sure they are trying their best to resolve this issues for the sake of peace and for their country also. Eould anybody loved a country that you can't even guarantee your own safety? Of course nobody would choose that.

For me I think one of the most peaceful if not the most peaceful is sweden. Due to its neutrality it is able to stave off conflicts from other countries. It is also called upon to mediate some global uprisings or wars as they are known to beneutral and be able to mediate terms that are not in favor of one party.

Iceland and Canada seem to be the most peaceful countries to me 
Canada without dude, Canada invest so much money in his citizens and in healt that its consider one of the most happy countries to live in my opinion.

I think Costa Rica is very peace-loving because they have no army. Yet, as a downside, crime rate is quite high around the capital San Josè and pickpocketing, robbery, drug traffic and extorsions are too common...

There are some peaceful countries in the world.At the recent time iceland is top of the list with them some of the another countries are also living peace.these countries are Switzerlant,Finland,Austria,Newzealand,Denmark etc.
Indonesia is one of the most peaceful countries. Despite isolated incidents of terror committed mostly by foreign funded mercenaries, Indonesia has remained calm and peaceful throughout the years.
The only peaceful region in Indonesia is the island of Bali. It has remained peaceful, because the island is having a solid Hindu majority (around 80%). But even there, the Muslim population is increasing.
Probably, it is Israel and, you will be amazed, Kazakhstan. I used to live in KZ, when I was a teenager. It is a great country with some great people over there! Visit it, if you can!
