Probably, it is Israel and, you will be amazed, Kazakhstan. I used to live in KZ, when I was a teenager. It is a great country with some great people over there! Visit it, if you can!

Indonesia is one of the most peaceful countries. Despite isolated incidents of terror committed mostly by foreign funded mercenaries, Indonesia has remained calm and peaceful throughout the years.

Switzerland comes to my mind. They are a powerful nation, and yet they haven't invaded any third world nation unlike the European Union member countries. Also the calm peaceful island nations in the Pacific, such as Palau, Micronesia and Marshall Islands.

We have the same choices as far as Pacific Island nations are concerned.

I think life there is very chill and relaxed. Without too much complications and problems.

I am happy that there are some countries which are peaceful where people are with out any terrorism. I live in India and according to GPI India is ranked at 137 which i feel is correct. I am just thinking what the top ranked countries does to keep their country peaceful.

In the past 2 years, india has recorded highest rape incident and most of them are very small girls. I hope in the coming years that India will alao improve to become one of the most peaceful country in the world.

The first five places of this rating, which is compiled annually, since 2007, consistently Iceland, Denmark, New Zealand, Canada and Japan.

Surprising to see Canada up there in the top five. Some of my friends are from Canada, and they frequently complain about high crime rates. But I agree with the remaining four. Japan is the safest country, having a population of more than 140 million. The others are small nations with a population of only a few million.

netherlands without doubts, visitted once, very friendly, open and peacefully country for everyone of any religion or country

I agree one of the friendliest and welcoming places I've been.  The people are awesome.  But in their history, they did conquer and colonize many parts of the world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Empire.

The Dutch were also famous for their role in the Atlantic slave trade. Along with the Arabs, it were the Portuguese and the Dutch who shipped the maximum number of slaves from the African continent. The others, such as the Spanish and the British, were late entrants to the scene.

Denmark
It is the state with the highest level of human development in the world. In addition, the Oslo government has always been leading the list of priorities of the country for economic stability, social development and peace.

Iceland tops the list of the most tranquil countries on Earth, as this is really a safe place to live. Iceland almost always remains aloof from world conflicts. This country rarely or never falls into the headlines of tabloids. You might think, but who needs this rocky islet in the Atlantic Ocean? But this is an amazing place, impressive with its natural beauty! Tourists from all corners of the world come to Iceland to view its huge glaciers and raging volcanoes, as well as numerous unique natural and cultural attractions in its capital - Reykjavik.

First, it is a hard question to find an exact answer for it but according to me scandinavian countries are the most peaceful of all because these counties are very rich and life quality is very perfect in these countries. Crime rates are lower than any other country on earth. If i had a chance, i would live in a scandinavian country.

Iceland
I love this country and become the most peaceful and comfortable country to live in. The country has a level of democracy, gender equality, and a very low crime rate.

Syrie, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan are deff safe countrys to visit.

Believe it or not, but Egypt is more safer than major tourist destinations such as Turkey. However, you should remember a few things. First, stay out of the rebel areas such as North Sinai and the Eastern desert. And secondly, cover-up from head to toe, if you are a female.

In my opinion- Switzerland.
They didn't have war last 400-500 years.
In political relations are neutral and have good relations with all countries in the world.
I don't think that they have any serious crime in the country.
Everything in this country is about business.
Their material standard is the highest in the world.
It's perfect place to live and enjoy Smiley
