I use Ethereum to transfer my tokens to where I can converthem to my local currency, you options are available to me,ethereum and Bitcoin and Ethereum is the cheaper option
Ethereum is the most popular coin for investment. About 90% of new ICO are based on Ethereum, that makes is so popular. Also Ethereum is good to use in daily trading. The transactions are faster than Bitcoin
I use ETH and as a means of storing money and as a currency through which I buy tokens. All I need is through ETH.

The main reason why I personally use ETH is to be able to participate in ICOs or to invest in existing projects. I don't really like to hold ethereum for long term investments. And I don't not trade, so I use ETH just for investment only

Right now I'm using it to buy tokens from different ICOs, so I use it as an investment currency, waiting for some to explode and take me to the moon hahaha, I've also used sites like localethereum to sell them by fiat currency when an emergency comes up and I need money,the rest i hodl then to see if they get value again.

I use it mostly for long term holding, as long as bitcoin, those too seem to be the more polished and reliable projects in the market currently.
ETH is so versatile that it can be used for lot of things...
For instance I convert mine to fiat through my country's supported exchange whenever I am short of cash, I also have a portion stored for a long term hodl and some that I use to buy some alts or ICOs I think has the potential to grow and give me multiple returns in the future

I use my ether in exactly the same way. I think that almost everyone does this way, except for small differences. Basically of course for long-term investments.

First of all I would like to point out that I am taking Ethereum in the direction of all the options mentioned and this continues for a long time. I think that Ethereum is the way to go. Lastly, I would like to point out that I am buying with the purpose of long term investment. The first reason to prefer long term is because it is a quality and solid project. Another reason is that it has a long term trading volume and it is not easy to reach the end of the project. That's why I always call it Ethereum, everywhere and every way until the end!
