Many people got into gambling because of the potential they saw with gambling giving them a way out of their poverty situations. Gambling is the last hope of any man to make money, I got into gambling after trying several means to make money but couldn't then I gambled.

My experience in gambling hasn't been what I expected as if I was lucky like some of the lottery winners I won't be here today writing this as I'll be enjoying my life on an isolated island somewhere in the middle of no where but we thank God the stories isn't sorrowful.

Without gambling many people would had gone into crimes because of trying the get an income to bring home to their family. Gambling has saved many lives although it has destroyed many too but that's because those people refuse to follow the rules to avoid addiction.

I was introduced to gambling back when I was a kid. 11 or 12 maybe. It's a card game with just a little amount of money at stake. After that, it become a hobby of ours but it had always just been a friendly game. It's better because we are not playing against the house but just battling with each other, we don't even need to pay anything while enjoying the game.
Today, it's way different, because most people don't have any friends near them or it's against the law to play it outside unlike before when we can freely do it outside. Also, the big difference is we have the option to play online with easy access to gambling platforms, I don't even need to look for anyone to play a game of cards, it's just one click away from my computer and presto you can gamble until your wallet run dry. Although the winning chance against the house is slim, people are still coming back to try their luck, which is actually what I do now.
Beating the house though seems impossible upon trying many times.

Gambling is going to be good for everyone who bet disciplined and remember that it is not a job or way to make money, it's purely chances of luck so it can go both ways, that is why it has been told that never bet more than you can afford to lose and the amount varies to everyone.

So as an individual it's our responsibility As an individual it is our responsibility to determine a gambling budget that is within your financial means and never bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose. Since the person you mentioned in OP clearly took a chance with 80% of his life savings haven't acted what he is supposed to be.

I’m attracted to gambling during my childhood since my father is frequently playing billiards with money bet on the game. He is always winning and he keeps giving money using his gambling profit. This small gambling memories with my father start my interest on gambling when I have a chance during my highschool days with my classmates. We often playing computer games like counter strike and dota while placing bets against other school.

My biggest win on this kind of gambling is when I bet half of my tuition fee that time since I’m stidying on private school. The money is not that huge but it’s significant to me because it’s for the sake of my education. We won that game on a very crucial fight. I never done it again ever since experiencing a life changing lose that result to my greediness during my younger age.

I attracted to gambling because of I have a lot free time and don't know what to do, so I choose to surfing on the internet and found a casino. Since the casino need to make a deposit to gamble and I don't want to make deposit, I skipped it. But after I know there's a casino offer faucet or fun money to gamble, then I try it. My experience is good because I was start using faucet or fun money at the first time, even though I lose, I didn't feel mad.

I was in high school and my friend were betting on sports. Some of them won fairly big amounts and I thought it as an easy way to make money. Obviously I learned it by the hard way that there was no free meal there. I lost more than I made and then I realized that gambling is not a job. I also realized that many of my friends who won their bets occasionally lost a lot more than what they actually made. I didn't come to these conclusions right on the spot though. It was process that took years. By the time I went to the college I was a responsible gambler.

It was an interest that I had when I was in high school. I wasn't originally going to, but hey, with the persuasion of friends to try it out we got to try it a bit together. It was only among us though, not through casinos or whatnot, just us, with our lunch money and stuff like that. I stopped after going to college, but after that, I got back into gambling, this time through casinos. It ultimately developed into habits, bank management, and then ended up with sports gambling altogether.

It wasn't all that good or bad really, there were bad moments, and there were good moments. Ultimately it developed into something of a neutral stance, a hobby of sorts.

The word “Gambling” alone is enough to attract people towards it. People gets attracted towards gambling after knowing that they can get 2x or more of their base amount in just few mins. I also came in hope to double my 100k satoshis back in 2016 and to be honest I tried many strategies on the dice games. Won few and lost many. So yes our only motive to gamble is to earn more money in shorter period of time.

I treat gambling nothing but entertainment. I don't care to profit from it because I know what the odds are. That being said, live table games by evolution gaming are what peaked my interest along with crypto casinos. Never was interested in gambling in the past until crypto casinos became big. The lack of weekend activities attracted me to gambling. As someone whose daily life revolve around my work and keeping my place clean, I find it boring to not do anything after work, especially on weekends. Being a poster in this forum for years, I tried playing in casinos that regularly have their signature campaigns over. Primedice is the first one to win me over, and that's where everything started. I started playing every weekend, with $10 or $20. Branched out into sports betting and the rest is history. Right now I don't regularly play in casinos, but I still place bets on sports, especially esports and motosports.

I was drawn to gambling because I view it as a means of generating income and because many of my friends have had financial success through gambling. When I first started, I also lost a lot—like ten times—but I never gave up because the friends who first introduced me to gambling told me to keep trying because one day I would win. I took their advice for a while, but when I kept trying but did not succeed, I tried to give up. I stopped betting for a while because I reasoned that I couldn't be wasting money when I could be using it for other things that would benefit my life.

But after a few days, I learned that my friend had won a sizable sum of money, which motivated me to start gambling once more, and my first wager after returning was successful in bringing in some money. Since then, I've been under the impression that gambling can make me wealthy and that someday I'll land a huge jackpot. then I begin raising my stake amounts consistently in an effort to earn a sizable sum of money.

So, with the belief that I will win a large sum of money at gambling, it has taken all of my courage to continue playing even when I am losing. But seriously, I have spent so much money there that I don't even remember the calculations, and now I never win that big amount, though occasionally I will win a small amount. However, I may say that the money I have wasted at gambling has not been worth 20% of the money I have used.

And sometimes you even win some and lose much more.
Basically, this gambling activity certainly has risks and everyone understands the risks and dangers of gambling if they are not able to control and manage it wisely and intelligently. But in fact, the more addicted a person is to gambling, this will make them even more unaware of these risks, only the will and image of winning that was always before them. But for those who are ordinary, gambling can be one of the usual activities, which brings money and provides fun things. Unfortunately, I myself am not at this stage yet, because I only gamble as necessary.

Most of the time my friends since this is our way to hangout but if I'm alone, my gambling activities will depend on my budget.
I've already experienced bad gambling where I don't have any control with my finances and lose everything, I've learned the lesson the hard way and will never do that again. Its also good that you have your support system to bounce back and rise again, now I'm more responsible and I'm not attracted in gambling that much anymore.

You win some you lose some is how the gambling system is. I'm sure you have learnt your lesson now from your heart pain that you don't have to gamble all you have in the hope of winning big. Winning is not a guarantee until you see the reality of it. It is illusive until you have seen your ticket in green. Throwing all inside a bet is not advisable as you have seen and I hope you have moved passed that now with your betting.

I don't really understand why we should listen to other people and try to learn from their words if most of us only learn from our own experiences. Also, a certain percentage of people like to embellish, and some like to just lie. In my opinion only your own statistics can present the real results of gambling and they will be true only for you.

From my personal experience I can only say that over time I have learned to control myself a little better during the game and limit my bankroll. Have I become a better gambler? Have I improved my skills or my level of luck? That's a tough question.

Mainly enjoying money and sports made me attracted to gambling. I was passionately following football teams so I could guess most of the matches results accurately. Then I asked myself why wouldn't I benefit from these skill and experiences to make money. It was good experience indeed because I was making money through my habit. But at one point I realized I was spending a lot too so net gains weren't that awesome.

Some people can be lucky with gambling, but it is only a few people, a very small percentage comparted to the number of people who loose to gambling. Some people have been gambling for a very long time and have never won any jackpot, they have lost thousands of currency in pursuit of a jackpot from gambling, but in the process, they have even lost more. My attraction to gambling is the fact that I can have fun and make money while I have fun. Not many fun activities offer you the opportunity to earn from it, gambling is one of the exceptions.

It should be on which it would really be that recommended or suggested that you should really be setting out a budget when it comes into your spendings on gambling so that you would really be able to handle yourself
that well and wont really be able to be wrecked up with gambling just because you've been spending that much on the money that you arent really that supposed to be spend on that thing.

Gambling is for leisure or fun which it is really just that right on having this kind of treatment as it should really be. On the time that you do have that kind of intent on the first place then you wouldnt really be finding
yourself into addiction kind of trouble since you've been wary about on what are those risks and possibilities. This is something that you would really be needing to have in mind.

Gambling could be good or bad basing on the actions you are making. Good in the sense that it would release up some stress at the same time it would really be that giving the chance on
making profits or making money if you are that lucky enough.
