Perhaps in their minds by ending the lives of all their problems over, they do not know there is a life more eternal than this. they should share stories to their nearest person, or to a psychiatrist, maybe that will help.

This is a tricky question as thoughts of suicide come to mind because of variety of reasons. It does not necessarily mean someone will follow through. Usually suicides happen because of a momentary feeling of a wall. It seems like you are stuck in a prison cell in a solitary confinement! Some people achieve peace and self awareness, but some people lose all hope! You cant convince a person to get out of the feeling, the person has to do it himself/herself. The only thing that you can do is to support the person and believe and hope!

We have to respect the fact about how unfair this world is and how people who have suicidal tendencies see it. The thing is they are suicidal for a reason of course, otherwise they are just mentally ill. Still, it is alarming that one would choose death rather than living because of the issues that people encounter.

Causes of suicidal is when a person having or suffering a big problem that he cam not handle that big kind of problem
Some cases its because of heart broken and family problem.. But if some one havdm faith in god he or she never ever put her him self at that suicidal situation

I think problems and hardships are some causes of suicidal thoughts. Having weak faith and nobody to share all the burdens in life would just make things hard and may cause a deeper level of depression that might lead to suicidal thoughts. These kind of people need encouragement and guidance. Suicide is a serious case and we must do something about it.
That's basically it. People get depressed and they're not emotionally stable to handle depression plus no support from friends and family so they lose the will to live and find an easy way out. The feeling of being alone adds a whole deal to a person having depression. Its a serious matter.
Of course it is not acceptable. It is true they commit scuicide because they can no longer bear the pain or the shame but i think in Japan it is a natural thing for a person to commit scuicide or kill them selves. Back in the time of war when soldiers lose in a battle, they choose to kill their own selves because for the, it is shame to lose in a battle. I think it has something to do with their societal standards and reasoning. They’ve been taught that it is more honorable to die that to lose.

So far in our area as of today, severe depression had been the biggest culprit of all these suicidal thoughts. Sometimes they also blame the social media for the spread of these suicidal attempts. So I agree to almost every post recommending depression, just to add a bit in poor countries, economy (financial difficulties) has also been a factor.

People are under the pressure from paying bills, raising kids, relationships,.... So if they can't take it anymore, commit suicide is the only way to release them, i think so.
Depression, break ups, rejection, family problems, sexual abuse, but for me taking your life is not the solution. Only God is the only one who can take your life.
When suicidal thoughts drives it is dangerous to stop. It could be because of the unsatisfied living. Unsatisfied of self satisfactory. Unsatisfied wants for anything. Unsatisfied for others because others make us feel that kind of emotion. It could be prevented by prayer I think and Love without limit.
it cause by the oppression brought by trials and unwanted circumstances in life this oppression leads to depression until it became possesion to the person.makes them think that the only way to end all of hardships is to kill themselves.
I think the cause of suicidal thought is being unhappy and alone in life .but some the reason why people do suicide is just because of having a break up with their lover they can't control their emotion and feelings so they want to end their life .but in any reason that your not happy in your life suicide is not the reason for it .always think that their is a sun after the rain

For each individual's suicide, specific problems should be analyzed. The suicide rate for a group of people is discussed from the public health and sociology level.

It could be the feeling of hopelessness and unworthiness that can drive a person to give up on everything. If the person is given some kind of new purpose it may change things around..But just my thoughts.
A lot of reasons can make someone think of suicide, depression is a major cause here(also caused by so many factors). So it really is a form of a chain of causes that pile up and then the person thinks of suicide. Many times, people who think of suicide need someone to talk to(never let a friend down if he/she wants:to talk to you). I highly recommend a psychologist, they really help people get over such thoughts
