when I was a kid I wanted to be a soldier, because a soldier is a state defense but I am proud of my current state although not a soldier.

Usually, the parent's influence is what the child wants to become in the future, but it changes when we get matured. Our priorities and preferences changed too.
Most of my peers wanted to become a doctor someday when we were little. That's probably the reason why I want to be a doctor in the future too
