i call it "lucky tech-rich " or "lucky early-nerd-adopter"

well in that case it would depend on when he has bought/ gotten those coins.

if it was in early stages at $1 a BTC then he is nerdearly-adopter who truly believed in bitcoin but if he has bought it these days then he is a rich man with a lot of money at his disposal.

I would simply call him a Lucky Guy, as its only luck that made him possible to achieve that milestone, as only efforts will not make you rich, you also need to have some luck factor attached to it.

Simply just luck will never give one such a huge number of bitcoins. He could have did some hard work to earn it else when bitcoin came into existence he could have bought it.

I think Bitcoin Billionaire  is a very nice name to use for them if I'm very honest about it, I think its not nothing if you know what I mean.
If you got some much bitcoins you have reach a real milestone.

Indeed, this is a pretty nice name in my opinion one of the best names that has come up.
A bitcoin billionaire makes it very clear that that someone has so many bitcoins in my opinion.

I would call him the "Bitcoin King" and if he holds that value then he can live like the King does, and he would surely feel that he is the king of the world if he holds that amount of bitcoins.

Or "Grand Bitcoiner" as 1000 $ is usually call a grand, could be applied to BTC

That sounds like the most exact and matching naming. If you want to use bitcoin then you have to take bitcoin in the name and that name has something like big, similar to millionaire has now.

Well, branding for that name would still have to be done by the press. Maybe it becomes a status object and certain millionaires want to be in the club, buying bitcoins to be "part of it". Cheesy

Someone with a million dollars, euros, pounds or pesos is a millionaire. No one (Okay maybe Satoshi) has a million Bitcoins and probably never will.

So what's someone with BTC1000 called? A thousandaire? There's got to be a better name. 'Bitcoin Whale' is just so meaningless and some people don't consider BTC1000 a whale anyways.

What should we call a Bitcoin thousandaire?

Update: We should come up with a name for someone with a thousand Bitcoins. Why, you ask? We need to stop converting Bitcoins to fiat and vice versa. Treat it as a currency or a vessel to hold your wealth. Saying someone with 1000 Bitcoins is 'someone with $400,000USD' will be pointless at some point in our lifetimes.

Let's come up with a name so we stop comparing Bitcoins to fiat. You wouldn't tell someone with 10M pesos that because they're worth less than dollars they aren't a millionaire based on American dollars. You also wouldn't compare USD to gold anytime someone brought up how much a house costs.

Me: "Hey Bill. I'm buying the big house at the top of the hill for $1,000,000"
Bill: "Oh so like 25kg of gold?"

That's just ludicrous. No one compares different currencies or vessels of wealth as much as Bitcoiners. Let's stop it by coming up with basic terms.
cool question,i'm never think about this before Cheesy i'm also confuse to answer a good nickname for people who have more than 1000 Bitcoin, maybe we can call them "bitcoin king" or something like "bitcoinbillioner" not bad huh??

That would be a great idea in my opinion, I think they need some elite nickname or status because its not nothing if you have such a amount of bitcoins.
I think I have a few suggestions for it but I hope to hear from you guys later if you guys like a name.

Bitcoin Billionaire
Pro bitcoiner
Elite bitcoiner
Bitcoin king
Coin king
Bitcoinaire
Billionaircoinholder

Of course there are a lot of other names possible but I think there needs to be a really good nickname to explain what these guys are.

Bitcoin Billionaire suits best IMO. Because, he/she's holding that much BTC equivalent to my country currency.

I would rather call him a lucky guy, as it was his luck and also the risk that he took at initial stage that took him at this level a this particular time, a lucky guy with risk taking abilities.

It really depends... If they managed to buy Bitcoin when it was priced at $1-$25 per coin, then they are very lucky.

If they managed to buy Bitcoin when it was priced at $26-$50 per coin, then they are just lucky.

If they managed to buy Bitcoin when it was priced at $51-$100 per coin, then they made a great investment.

I would call him a very lucky and I think happy man, if you got such a amount in your wallets you are the man for sure.
I think you have to be at the beginning of the bitcoin if you want to have such a amount.

How about naming it after a roman pack of soldiers? A thousand soldiers would be called a legion, so maybe a holder could be called a bitcoin legionair.

Although technically a legionaire would be a single soldiers, which would make the name off in a historical perspective.

it is not connected with luck at all, i think its more like work or something like that

i would call him a whale^2 as whales in my opinion usually have from 10 to 100 bitcoins and 1000 bitcoins are a lot of money, i wish i hit such sum at some point in the future
