He will be the BTC King. But I think that cant happen. It is so much money and not every rich person has Bitcoin.

He doesn't need to be so rich to buy that amount of bitcoins. He only needs to be an early adopter who did not falls for the various scams that happened. Though that sonds very rare...

Someone with a million dollars, euros, pounds or pesos is a millionaire. No one (Okay maybe Satoshi) has a million Bitcoins and probably never will.

So what's someone with BTC1000 called? A thousandaire? There's got to be a better name. 'Bitcoin Whale' is just so meaningless and some people don't consider BTC1000 a whale anyways.

What should we call a Bitcoin thousandaire?

Actually I think if someone has a million yen, pesos or so doesn't matter much. Calling themselfes a millionaire would sound like betray since what they actually would have would own would be way less. Someone asking back would only be disappointed to hear that he is a yen millionaire. Which would be a embarrassing for the yen millionaire.

So normally all real millionairs are said to be dollar millionairs. Then everyone knows whats the value that person has really is worth.

So taking that into account then someone with 1000 Bitcoin is no millionaire yet... or anymore... maybe price will go back to $1000 in some time...

i call someone with 1000BTC a scary person because he can manipulate bitcoin price as he pleases.

he can put up sell walls to push the price down or buy walls in order to push the price up. or dump and create mass panic on exchangers.

Maybe Scammer or Lucky. Scammers can get that much bitcoins while the lucky ones can be the early adopters who mined bitcoins back when it can be easily be mined by a computer.

I think we should call him a Lucky Scammer, who is also a scammer and who is also lucky in scamming or gambling with his bitcoins to reach that position.

If bitcoin were an army, then a thousand would be a legion I guess.   Bitcoin eagle as in the standard to the Roman divisions could be one handle.    Problem is we dont yet know what 1000 btc is useful for, the label will probably relate to how they garnered such sums

I think its impossible to hold that amount, either you get it by gambling if you gamble big and win then you can have that big amount, or else I don't see anyone earning that big amount.
yeah I also have never seen anyone withstand that much bitcoin. and I've seen someone play a gamble with the amount in 1000 BTC in pocketrocketcasino. maybe the site lie

Every single one of them will always be a Nigel Miguel Hussein Slater to me.

^ I have no idea what that means but boy I laughed... maybe thats the point. Smiley

1000 btc = 1000 btc. Nothing more, nothing less. All these posts attaching it to some exchange rate is ridiculous.

Why call someone with 1000btc rich??  If he exchanges today to fiat he may get ~US$400k. Not exactly rich, but it's ok. If he holds and exchange rate drops, then definitely not rich anymore.

At the moment it's another investment option alongside precious stones, precious metals, art, antiques, real estate, shares and so on. Just because someone throws fiat into bitcoin, doesn't mean they believe in bitcoin - they could just be diversifying.

Anyone who holds bitcoins = a bitcoiner. No matter the amount.

You call such a person a 42.9% millionaire. Since such a person is almost halfway on being a millionaire.
But yes he is very very rich. I wish i could hold such an amount sometime.

I would probably just ask them what they prefer to be called, say if his name is William he might like to be called Bill or Billy. I don't know what having a certain amount of anything has to do with what they are called.

I don't think you could designate individuals with a 1000 bitcoin with a specific term. As with currency, there are millionaires and billionaires. I don't think you can specifically label an individual with ten, hundred, or a thousand bitcoins a term. I would just refer to them as an individual with 1000 bitcoins.
