2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

i don't think the crypto market will go down like 2018. now the market is recovering and even though it's down but the price will still be higher than 2018. look at the market cap in 2021 it has a big increase.

As a non-expert in crypto I see this falls into the right category for building a crypto portfolio but not in a single coin. If you see that there are now many investors who are present day by day, then the opportunity for prices to increase will exist. Why? because the price decreases or increases in the market depending on the quantity demanded. That's my opinion.
Well most of us cannot predict the market well so maybe we are mostly non-expert here. But starting to build a portfolio with this current market situation is never a bad idea but make sure you are into coins with high potentials so that once the market dumps, they will have all the chances to recover again.
Of course, coins that have good potential with a good level of confidence should be included in the portfolio despite current market conditions.
And looking at the previous events in the market, i don't think we will have the same dip scenario from 2018 because crypto at that time was never really that popular and its adoption is still very slim but seeing the market now has improved a lot then maybe it will be very different now. Of course dips is still inevitable but the market won't really fall that dip as before.
The market does not tell us that this year or next year the conditions will be good and that has been proven in 2017 and 2018, including 2021. All need rhythm as a strategy in trading.

if you look at historical benchmarks, then it should have happened no matter how many investors came in and out, but if it did happen as you said then history would change and its movements would be difficult to predict, so I still believe it's still on track.

I think, now is the best time to begin investing in crypto... again Smiley
I hope we will see a nice rally in October-December and maybe even further, in Winter.

When the bull run was going on in 2017, many of us thought that maybe the market will not be so down. But our ideas have been proven wrong. So it is difficult to predict how low the bear market will be after this bull run. If you follow the right strategy, you can build up your crypto portfolio at any time.
yes you are right, at that time I never thought that the price would fall very deeply and at that time maybe I was a little late to get out but from past experience I have a lot of experience so I can build a better portfolio

I don't think there's a stipulation on when to build a portfolio. if you really believe in crypto then every time is the right time to build a portfolio, it's just that if we have decided to build it then we also have to maximize it well so that the results are also maximized. bear market can happen at any time and we must be able to handle it well. certainly don't be afraid to try because if we have entered into it then all the risks that exist must also be accepted by us. there is no such thing as getting continuous wins, so we have to be able to react to it well.

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
In the short term it seems like a good time to build some portfolio in crypto as I am still optimistic this hype will happen again later this year.
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?
if we look at the 4 year chart everything could have happened like 2018 but maybe the price fell not too deep and if that happened then build a portfolio on this momentum.

#1. It really depends. Do you have stable income right now? Keep in mind that we're still in the middle of pandemic, and there are many unemployed right now. If you don't have a stable job right now, don't think that crypto will be your "stable job". It is a nice icing in the cake but that's it.

#2. Well surely we're getting a lot of dips, but still too early to declare that it is bear market.

I have noticed so far many new projects being developed from various existing ecosystems are getting more successful and improving, so I believe we are still in a safe market at the moment to start or hold investment assets, so we don't have to worry about the bearish trend and keep assets us for the long term

I fellas I have two questions to ask crypto experts and investors in this forum today

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

Now that crypto is gaining more investors day by day and crypto adoption is increasing massively I don't think that the next bear market will be crazily low like 2018/2019, what do you think?
The bear market is the best time to be in. As for the top altcoins worth holding for the long term are ETH, LTC, ADA & XRP. My bags are now packed with these incredible coins.
I also acquired some of Stakenet's XSN along the way. I'm extra bullish on this one. With the amount of developments currently taking place on this project, I've got a feeling it will going to soar big time in the coming months.

For me it is always good time to invest every correction. The decline is another opportunity to buy the potential tokens. Buy low and wait for the market to increase and then sell. I observe that the market now are full of NFT games. Choosing the best among the rest would be good to invest the most promising token and have good return of profit.

Predicting the price is very hard so I would say that any time is a good time to build your own portfolio. Just choose temhe solid coins if you want a long term and other coins for short term.

Bear markets will indeed continue to occur, but not for now. Because the bullrun will continue in the next few months. Maybe we just need to be careful with market conditions like this. Losses in the crypto market are certain, but we must be able to turn them into profits. Please print your portfolio, but you have to remember that dumps are bound to happen. So you will not be careless in investing.
Need brave for investor and trader if want to be success in cryptocurrency, I see many trader or investor always doubt when try to entry with some potential coins have good chance with lower price, they are waiting when dip price coming again and miss most wonderful chance, few hours later price up and we know how much disappointed when not to entry when have lower price. I think you need really brave if want to be success in cryptocurrency and never worry when you entry with good price how ever if bitcoin back to higher price your assets altcoin will be more profitable.

You are right about that. The bear market this time is not going to be as low as the one we experienced in 2018 and 2019. If you check so far this year the price hasn’t gone as low as it was last year, it has maintained the $40,000 value for a long time now. The lowest it has been this year is $30,000 after it reached the all time high price. So if you’re planning to invest your money now would be a good time to start doing that, and the price has gone back to around $40,000. Now we’ll be looking forward to another increase.

The community keeps on growing, but I can’t tell you now that there is going to be another bull run. I have seen a lot of people predicting there will be another bull run  this year but I think it will only happen once which is what we have experienced already.

1. You don't need expert advice here as building a crypto portfolio is always good. The challenge now is, what coins should be part of that list so test your research skills regarding that.

2. No one has a crystal ball to see the future. The answer probably is yes or no as everything is always possible to happen. The question is, is that really important to know? What matters here is, you are prepared for whatever happened.

1. In building a portfolio there is no right time, but it is the readiness of each individual who knows when to enter, where if the crypto value has reached ATH, we are required to increase the existing capital before reaching ATH and be prepared to accept the risk if the crypto value weakens

2. For the bear market itself, I think, there is no similarity in 2018, where this year the movement is too fast but in recovering the price of bitcoin does not take too long to fall, it always rises within 2-3 days although slowly

what to think?? my advice you don't have to wait for a bear market or a good one to make a trade. If you invest, invest now and leave it for months or even years because you will be able to see your portfolio multiply in the years to come.
