The crypto market will be prosperous at times, but it will also become weak and it is inevitable of nature. We can see many changes in 2017, the period of glorious development but in 2018 recession. It seems to me that the present moment needs to be used profitably and actively invested in promising coins while prices are very affordable. Whenever possible, I buy coins from the top 20 Coinmarketcap and also invest in new promising projects such as Sound Money Coin.
It is a normal situation for every market that after a big pump, comes a massive dump. But the market is always recovering and entering the new era after several years. Just be patient and golden times will come back.
It may really take a long while before the bulls will come running. If yuo haven't not dumped since the last 2017 bullrun, it must be a regretful days thinking you could have enjoyed the money out of it. no one knows the future, I can't make sure the crypto future will come back like 2017 or not. all certainly expect the current market conditions to show the expected developments. indeed the risk of trading is experiencing loss and regret that there must be, make your past as learning for the future so that it is better than before. Don't make it a burden, if you believe that the assets you have now can be profitable in the future, it's better.

Since you didn't sell since 2017 I think you just have to keep holding because the prices are at the bottom now. personally I still very much believe in cryptocurrency and I see it as the future though it is facing a hard time now but I believe it will bounce back that is why we have to invest now to start all over and move with the price upwards.

I doubt if the high prices of 2017 can ever be achieved again in cryptocurrency. We may have a bull run but not with such exorbitant high prices. As more cryptocurrencies are created, the more the existing ones tend to loose attention and price.
