Of course there will be catastrophe in crypto and maybe other countries will ban crypto too, but that is very unlikely to happen because many companies in the US support the development of crypto
Yes, that is a reason why cryptocurrency is still alive and gradually developing, because there are so many cryptocurrency enthusiasts at this time and there are companies that always use cryptocurrency for certain things.

the USA has a big influence on cryptocurrencies, of course, the price will drop drastically if banned on crypto is enforced there. but fortunately, so far that hasn't happened because the US definitely still sees great potential in cryptocurrencies.
But investors in the crypto space are very much in Germany not in the United States, so I think that if the ban really does happen, then the effect on cryptocurrency prices will be minimal and won't last long either, because investors those outside the United States will also make very good use of this.

Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.

because the US knows the potential of the crypto market, of course, there will be no prohibition. if possible it will probably be a regulation that makes a little controversy in the crypto market.
The US has always liked something like that. and most importantly the US still supports crypto.

The Biden administration hasn't banned cryptocurrencies yet, not because US is a free country, but because such a ban is almost impossible to implement. It is practically impossible to prohibit an asset which doesn't exist in the physical form. The only way to do that is to shut down the internet. However, the regime can make the lives of cryptocurrency users difficult, by making it impossible to convert cryptocurrencies to fiat (and vice versa). Already important members of the Biden administration, such as Elizabeth Warren and Janet Yellen have given indications that they are considering such measures.

I don't think the US will ever ban cryptocurrencies. What it'll do is implement heavy-handed regulations to bring law and order to the industry. As long as crypto can be taxed, there should be nothing to worry about. More US-based companies are joining the game, so it should only be a matter of time before the United States fully embraces crypto as legal tender. In the worse case scenario, American citizens can either move to another country with a crypto-friendly stance or simply operate under the radar by relying on decentralized alternatives (decentralized exchanges, atomic swaps, non-custodial mixers, etc). Things would've been real bad for crypto if it was centralized. A ban would've had a direct effect over its prominence in the mainstream world. But knowing that the whole space is decentralized, it's virtually impossible to enforce regulations on the protocol itself. The only way to take down the revolution would be shutting down the whole Internet. Just my thoughts Grin

Yep, President Biden did not ban Bitcoin infact the US is still a free country to access Cryptocurrencies. I also think that Bitcoin will never ban because US is advance in technology and will not let the competitors sit in the top as the king.

You cannot conduct ICO, IDO or even allow gambling sites to accept US citizens and do you think that those projects price have crashed, the market will move on despite some countries banning them and there is no way US is going to ban Bitcoin even if they take the step to crush the rest of them because many companies have invested millions and they are not stupid enough to crush every business.

Cryptocurrency was made for our financial freedom and privacy, so the government banned announcements that didn't work. If you check the central bank condition, maybe you will understand the situation. But yes, government support also needs to achieve great success. We should know the history, so many governments already did it even though the government knew that this announcement didn't work.

Bitcoin has a reaction to bans. Similar to what has been seen in the market since China cracked down on the bitcoin mining industry. If the US continues to do that, surely the panic will be enormous. However, I guess not. The US is a country with thousands of ATMs (I know more than 28k) that transact bitcoin in all their states. It won't happen easily.

With that, bitcoin will not likely to be ban, US are open in crypto, in fact, we have a lot of millionaires and billionaires who invest in crypto, they are rich already before they invest in crypto, so they know something, they don't risk their money if they see the risk of bitcoin getting ban in the USA.

I'm expecting ban from any country including U.S, if they don't put ban in crypto how will crypto crash? How will they fill their bags and get ready for another halving year? Have you seen how calm Elon musk is lately? Yea that's because he already tripled his billions through doge coin, if you still believe that crypto space is manipulation free you are a clown.

Just think of this, if they have planned all banning cryptocurrency, Bitcoin already here since 2010, more than 10 years, why they still don't ban it can't ban it? Very impossible. It's far from possible for now, as time goes by and without strong aw against cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency will stay.
They will just more become strict on "some" cryptocurrency, always remember that most of cryptocurrencies (altcoins) out there are shitcoins or scams!
The fact that cryptocurrency, and in particular bitcoin, are not banned, does not mean at all that it cannot be banned. We can be convinced of this even by the example of the recent actions of the Chinese government. Although they have taken certain steps in this direction since 2017, they have never completely banned the mining of bitcoin and its use as a means of payment.
The prohibition of the circulation of cryptocurrency in any state is very undesirable for cryptocurrency, especially in such a large and powerful state as the United States. In any case, this will entail significant negative consequences for the entire cryptocurrency.

We are discussing an uncertain issue, I don't want to speculate on this in the future.
As it may or may not happen, although the assessment of this market potential is very large, honestly as long as they have not found a way to accept it into the economic monetary system, we are still much to wait. I see the issue of accepting bitcoins and cryptos is getting easier and easier, looking back we have come a long way to where the crypto market is today. But if the US implements a ban on cryptocurrencies, then I think really bad things will happen.

It will have a big impact but it won't shut down the cryptocurrency, even right now there are some of government in USD banning crypto because US is pro of fiat money and paper money because they created it. If people are having transaction with blockchain i think their profit will be less that's why many of them are againts cryptocurrency

LOL.. the governments around the world are dependent on their national currencies, and the case with United States is no different. In fact, I would say that the US is even more dependent on it, because their national currency (United States Dollar) is the reserve and trade currency of the world. This situation provides them with an advantage, because the US government is able to take loans at near-zero interest rates. Their economy can survive, even if the debt balloons to more than 100% of the GDP. On the other hand, for countries such as El Salvador and Ecuador, it doesn't matter whether a decentralized currency such as BTC is increasing in acceptance, because they don't have a national currency.

Regulatory frameworks for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are still being built. Some places are completely banned until the legislation is called crypto-friendly, but the US, which leads the economy, has yet to make any positive adjustments to this market. As the world's largest economy, the US has always had to think differently about applying the principles of supervision and management of crypto assets.

I see that the US is making more and more clear cryptocurrency laws, the government allows development of guidelines and uses technology for organic development instead of setting up early scrutiny. And the US is also letting it grow and is unlikely to ban it, but there will be laws governing and monitoring this digital sector more and more carefully. So don't think the US will ban it, for me it's just a matter of time for them to legalize it in life.

if it is true that the US will ban crypto, then surely the negative impact will be very large for the crypto world, but I am sure the market price will not fall to zero, it's just that crypto will be very difficult to rise if this happens

Aside from US there are countries who still accepting Bitcoin, though it's not that much or big enough unlike with US and China that really have big impacts in each stand that they'll going to side. Not to fall and completely dumped to zero value but the developement will feel the impact, as trust and possible supports coming from those known people might be limited.

To be honest, the US attitude towards encryption has a great influence on the future of Bitcoin. It can also be said that it determines the future of Bitcoin. In the United States, although the United States has some dissatisfaction with Bitcoin, many capital consortia use cryptocurrency or cryptocurrency, but the United States will not ban it. I think the United States is one of the biggest supporters of Bitcoin.

US do have big influenced knowing that they are not against this crypto and they are still allowing transactions being done under this system, good enough to continue the market under their radar.
