there are so many things that will happen if bitcoin touches 100,000usd. altcoins will go wild as well, people who are holding their assets for a long time will sell those assets if that will happen
Bitcoin can't make 10 times gain during a year. But if it happened, altcoins would loose its value. Altcoin investors would be moving to the bitcoin.
100K is really high very amount to reach, but if Bitcoin manages to reach 100K then definitely most of the altcoin will follow the price of Bitcoin. I hope it is going to be a nightmare for me because of 100K is really very huge amount and active development coins will follow the Bitcoin.
But before we think such huge amount for btc, lets assume first the price will reach its previous ath, a realistic price since btc is improving this year.
Halving might trigger for another bull run so lets just wait and see if it will happen.

That's not the case last year 2017 where btc rise from 900 usd to 20,000 usd. If it happen in the past, it could possible happen in the future since the market is still at the early stage where its not fully regulated.

Again, it's the opposite that happen in 2017, in fact altcoins were more profitable compared to bitcoin that time.

no, i dont think so dude. When bitcoin increased to $ 100k, the mood of the crowd changed dramatically and hundreds of thousands of new investors entered the crypto market. When bitcoin reaches $ 100k, that's when people trust and nickname bitcoin as digital gold. then the volume became bigger and the whales became less and less powerful. The market will gradually return to balance and the alts will have the advantage to demonstrate their technological prowess. Bitcoin touches the price of $ 100k 
if that happens then some altcoins will also experience price increases especially ethereum will definitely reach a price of $ 10k or more
That is really doubtful there is a lot more ethereum than bitcoin and if it reached a price of 10k when bitcoin reached 100k then that will mean that the market cap of ethereum will be half of the one bitcoin had at that moment. if that happens then some altcoins will also experience price increases especially ethereum will definitely reach a price of $ 10k or moreAnd that does not seem realistic to me when the the difference between the market caps of bitcoin and ethereum is above 8x in favour of bitcoin and it seems that distance is increasing as the price of bitcoin become higher.

If that happens, of course everyone who holds bitcoin will feel a great deal of sadness and loss, but of course this will not happen in the near future because today many people are using bitcoin as their investment asset and the growing number of bitcoin lovers will surely increasingly makes the price continues to be maintained and so too if the fewer bitcoins in number will certainly make the price of bitcoin more expensive later. And as of now, there is a possibility that the value of BTC could reach more than the ATH and hopefully it will go much higher and no more DUMPS to happen but that's the flow of the market, we cannot stop it.
Have you see the movement price when bitcoin had touched its all time high at 2017 ago? What was happening with altcoin price, it's pretty much the same in every cycle my friend. Altcoin prices were following the bitcoin price and their price was also touched all time high. I'm still waiting for the bitcoin price to pump rapidly to the new all time highs or maybe even 100 thousand as you mentioned. Then I will be waiting for an altcoin pump as well
it would be possible to happen again in the future, and I believe it will.what happen nowadays, when Bitcoin up alt down, Bitcoin down alt down. that's why some people are skeptical with altcoin

For sure high probability if altcoin will increased too, but maybe only big altcoin which can follow bitcoin price because logicly or what is on my mind is when bitcoin reach $100k, it means bitcoin already accepted worldwide, adopted and a lot of people demands it. But only in case that thing happen, because $100k actually too high for me.

what happens ? hmm i think people will panic and was like omg omg the price is now so verry high , i need to act fast selling while some are still buying . it sounds insane but yes its true that there are buyers when the coins are on thier peak . but for the person that does not have a btc and money the moment that happen , well that would be the worst experience of thier life because they could miss a verry big oppurtunity and on a blink of an eye anything can dissapear .
In terms of altcoin growth, they will increase too with Bitcoin. Whenever people make excessive profits in btc that too after a bearish cycle, profits starts coming as investment to altcoins. In a 10x bullish move for btc, the profit would be humongous for the hodlers and will lead to increase of volume in altcoins as well. Price is certain to rise with increase in trading volume as overall market sentiment would be positive.

Well be optimistic and always stay positive is what we can do to not be tempted of selling our hodlings in not perfect time.
The market has slowly been trending upwards for the whole last year. I'm almost positive we'll see $10k sooner rather than later. Altcoins will follow along with the Bitcoin price simply because of the marketcap increasing. As more money comes into the market and increases the market cap, people will invest into more and more altcoins also. Many people will be taking profit from Bitcoin and looking to put it into something else.
yes but it is too fast for 100k this year, considering last year bitcoin did not show an efficient increase, but yes the market conditions are difficult to guess, whatever happened yesterday does not necessarily affect for today or tomorrow.
so we might see a new ATH this year, and also a lot of good news about BTC and alt. I hope this is a good start.

I don't think the alts will fall so badly. when bitcoin rises to $ 100k it is when the market is very active and alts have the capital to update their technologies. Just like bitcoin rose to $ 20k in 2017, of course there will be new trends for us to invest. Don't be too negative about the alts, the season of alts hasn't come yet. ALTS ?? dump to zero

If bitcoin reaching $100k I don't think the altcoins will become zero, maybe the altcoins will drop because they convert their alts into bitcoin and I think only shitcoins will become zero.
