if I personally do the analysis by looking at the graph of altcoin that I want to buy and see whitepaper and roadmap from ICO, because only from that way I can find out if altcoin will give me profit or even make me loss.
I am very particular and a very picky person when it comes to buying my alternate coins. I would go first and check the team behind it if it is doing actively to make their tokens suit the demands of the market. Plus, if an altcoin is already listed on cryptomarket, i would make it sure if it has a big market capitalization already.
Before you buy an altcoin make it sure you're already good when to sell and not to sell coins in order you to avoid losses, this is the right time to buy more cheaper coins because prices is now affordable due to the volatility in market and hodl for a long time until the expected earnings you get. Be ready in terms of that and be wise in selling coins for the purpose to earned big profit.

I am most interested in the team and their background. I look at the whitepaper and the quality of the idea and the feasibility. I prefer some kind of working project instead of just vaporware. Finally, I see if they are generating any kind of buzz.

Exactly before buying altcoins study the history of the coins, how they have featured in the price, profit-loss percentage, market value all these things very much necessary before buying any Kind of coins. Knowing that the market is dumping prices, it is better to hold your altcoins first and sell or trade it when its price went up because you will earn more profit through it.
Agree! Don't do panic selling and just wait for the price to pump up before selling. Also, try to add up or buy other altcoins while the market is down and to gain more profit when the market recovers.

will,this topics can gives us another idea on what to do,before buying an altcoins,but in my own thought before i buy an promising altcoins,i must observe first the blockchain market if there is movement and there is a big chances that theres a pump in the digital currency,before i buy those coins that i thinks give us fortune to me.
which you should do when you have to see how the altcoin develops and see if the product is very useful to the people or not because altcoin can be good if it has a very useful and profitable product for the people.
