The ICO with a great concept of co-creation and in general projects who aim to disrupt and decentralize current markets are worth to invest.

Check-out the ICO of Crowdholding, the Platform which aims to build a bridge and cut intermediaries between enrepreneurs and the crowd

I think that one of the main indicators of a good IKO is the level of excitement and the degree of risk, and of course you need to pay attention to the idea of the project.

What are some characteristics of a good ICO?

Future of the token!

For example, YUPIE token, which creates a long-term value.

I am doing analysis on Debitum Network project and will be able to share more once I fully complete it, but already now I like the project due to strong points:

1. Team - both financial and IT background, previous on-hand business experience, members working already for at least few years.
2. Market - credit gap for small businesses is huge, underserved by major banks
3. Working businesses - they claim to have two working businesses. One in invoice financing, for which they already raised EUR 3 million and have an invoice turnover of EUR 19 million3. Advisors - looks like business people, not only shiny names on the page. The other is IT development with 151 k project hours clocked.
4. Advisors team - looks like a mix of business people and "mini-stars", likely some of them will remain for post ICO business development.
5. Whitepaper - actually 3 docs (pitch story, position paper, token generation), which include explicit roadmap with detailed use of proceeds and how the ecosystem works.

My few cents. What do you guys think?

I like COMSA (from the creators of NEM).
They already gathered 89mil$ and crowdsale isnt over yet.

Dev team is well known and reliable, project is kinda unique, already has some company who plans to make ICO on platform.

this is IMHO.

P.S.Nothing else interesting pops up lately...

1. whitepaper
2. team
3. market fit
4. existing platform

A good one I'm looking into cybermiles. It fits all of the criteria above and has crazy demand for it in ecommerce.

What are some characteristics of a good ICO?
i believe that some characteristics would be checking the whitepaper and the roadmap, good team on project and the project concept. If the project has an Active communication station such as telegram, this will keep you up to date with new info about this project and answer any questions you might have.

As usual I read some specific telegram channels, this topic is really popular. Then I search some top-sites such as icobench. Last time found two interesting project: Jibrel Network and Confideal. Also my friend told me to search info about ZXC. It is so hard for me to understand, maybe one can tell me what the point.

Lately is better to wait for coins to go on exchange and then buy it since they loose value fast after ICO, but to be honest it looks like crypto economy is healing and we could see ICOs with huge investments and profits again.
That's right, having enlisted by any exchanger gives assurance to us that this ICO have something in real. And we can certainly trust this, and it give chances to have a gaining investment.

- Good team behind
- Good whitepaper and concept
- Some working prototype if they have
- Active communication via slack or telegram, they should be able to answer every doubt investor will have.
- ICO with low hard cap and short time.
- ICO without any pre-ICO

Why pre-ICO is bad ?

I think the key thing about pre-ICO is the discount. Some of the ICO can give very huge discount for pre-ICO or private sale. This can cause the later investors to suffer. One popular example is give 250% bonus, so for the same price, the earlier investors can get like 3x more tokens so even if they sell at half the price, they still profit.
There are projects in which tokens sold during pre-sale have a lock period and can't be sold by investors right after ICO. It seems to me that this approach is much more honest and I have more trust to such projects. Otherwise the chance of selling tokens by early investors at a price lower than ICO is high. This can lead to panis sell and as a result collapse of price.

Agree with you but before that you anyway need to check the project details, then you can try to invest. But if you not sure about project then avoid investment because even with good bonuses you can lose your money.

In my opinion Spectre is a good project for investment

PALLY APP is the ICO I contributed recently Smiley

Why? ok let me explain Smiley

 - Pally has been building a platform for Decentralised Social Travelling, there is no such a competiror in the cryptoworld. Sure! There is a competitor  - Airbnb. Airbnb has 20% commission as a "thank you" that you offer your adventures and experiences in their platform. That means that AIRBNB WILL TAKE 200USD FOR EVERY 1000USD YOU EARN ON THEIR PLATFORM. What more, Airbnb is centralised and mostly focused on Accomodation than providing experiences.

- Pally has NO COMMISSION! That means that if you want to earn 1000 PALS (or 100usd does not matter here) per each activity you provide, YOU WILL GET IT. NO FEES!
- Pally is fully decentralised p2p platform.

Main differencies between AIRBNB X PALLY!

- More affordable activities aimed at a younger demographic than those that can afford the average airbnb experience (Incentive for people on the buy side)
- No commission charged to local hosts (incentive for people on the sell side)
- More sophisticated dispute resolution

Why should you contribute during the ICO?
- there is now 25% BONUS
- LOW hard cap of 4 550 000 usd
- already working beta version (iOS x web browser)
- over 25 000 downloads on iOS
- since there is over 6billion tourists every year, the usage of the platform is something nobody can deny!

Take a look at https://pally.co and make your own decision Smiley I love the project, I love the concept and I am sure you will, too !
