I think bitcoin will continue to develop very rapidly in the future because with the widespread news about the world of cryptocurrency be able to make someone to seek information and try to make an investment so the existence of bitcoin is also increasingly popular in the world.
There is a big advantage to using crypto, instead of cash due to the fact that crypto has very low fees and fast transactions across the globe. That might change the market itself. But, in my opinion, exactly Bitcoin has no exactly bright future, as the cryptos like Ether and such have much more functionality and potential.
According to different Statistics the Future of this virtual currency is so much brighter than others currency and people will find very easy to deal with every thing through bitcoin. some Reasons are really very fruitful for economical development such as

Bitcoin has a long way to go before everyone on this planet use ut one way or another. Our hope is that one day, we can freely, easily and conviniently buy and sell crypto currencies and even exchange it for goods and services on the fly. More and more companies accept bitcoin as payment. I've seen porn websites that asks for Ethereum.
Bitcoin has a long long way to go to be anything usable. As it currently stands, its a novelty collectors' item at best. A store of value IF and only if it's price stabilises, which wont happen anytime soon either. Their team really need to ramp up to keep up with the competition.
In theory, yes, if Bitcoin implements Lightening Network and get their sh%t together, it could significantly overshadow anything out there, as the code could quite easily be adapted to most usecases.
I do agree on your points with regards to Ethereum though. I see them being more successful than BTC at the very least within the next year or two.

I don't think the blockchain will become a mainstream technology, and blockchain is useful in certain areas, but it is only a mainstream supplement. At least under the current technological conditions, the use of blockchain increases mutual trust, but reduces operational efficiency and increases the operating cost of the world.
Of course Bitcoin's future is so bright than other currency. It will be easy for our next generation.
yeah , bitcoin still number 1 in cryptocurrency , and in future bitcoin maybe will adopted by alot country used for as payment system like fiat money.bitcoin will perform the fastest transaction than banks , and easy to use for everyone.

If someday bitcoin users continue to increase and marketcap has reached at least 100x from now then I'm sure all countries will legalize bitcoin because the state can not afford to stop bitcoin, this makes us have to dare to invest bitcoin from now.
