Mostly utility tokens for no-product or unnecessary products.

Like bank projects which never get licence or crappy exchanges, nobody would like to use.

Shitcoins have different types of meaning ,my own definition of shitcoins is
1) coin that are just plain pump and dump coins used by scammers
2) coins or tokens that never get listed on exchange like forever
3) coins and tokens that get listed on exchange with no volume ,means no demand for it

What actually defines a shit coin?  The continuous price decrease after listing on an exchange with actual working products in real life or a stable price and a minimal increase in price but lacking real life working products?

A shitcoin is where you slowly losing your investment from that coin, where it becomes useless until it becomes a dead coin, shitcoin actually still has a chance, where it is adopted by a new developer like what happen to Xtrabyte, where a new dev overtake the development of that coin, and from 1 sats the price skyrocket.

- any coin with an insane volume. (e.g. Billions and billions of coins = Fake Total Market Cap)
- any coin without a reliable exchange and user interested to buy not only for speculative purposes.
- any coin without any reliable product behind.
- any copy of another coin without a real team/advantages of using it.
- any coin distributed with some anomaly (likewise admin own large batches).
I don't think all coins are shitcoins (with exception of bitcoin and ethereum).
There are also scam coins Cheesy . And there are also other niches projects that could be considered as "strong cryptocoins".

My definition of shitcoin is not listed on the market, if there is a market, the price is around 0.000070 USD. the project is not clear, the team does not have seriousness in developing updates. And dead communities.

In past, my definition of shitcoin is when it is reach 1 satoshi in market and then delisted. But now maybe what be trend is shittokens because altcoins not really much for now and there are a ton of tokens that have very low value.

Shit coins are those who are created to scam, sometimes we tend to call a coin a shit coin although it's just an undervalued coin.
We have to know the difference, we cannot just call it a shit coin until we made a research and we believe that the team is not capable of developing the project.

Anything that is not Bitcoin is a Shitcoin.

Not all that is gold shimmers.

Around 95% of the Altcoins on the market have and serve no purpose they take away from bitcoin adoption and stifle the market most of which turn out to be scams to the highest order.
People should see that the Alt market is nothing more than a was for greedy developers to push some shitcoin to gain more BTC -  all alts are a route to BTC nothing more.

Sooner alt's vanish from the industry the better.

Definition in my opinion, most shitcoin comes from 50% airdrop tokens, 30% ico, 20% coin that uses old algorithms and its characteristics are shitcoin usually always promises unreasonable updates, often delays listing on the market, and if traded it has volume very, very low, that's the definition of shitcoin

In my honest opinion, A shitcoin is a coin that has no real life usage and have also decline in price to the extent it becomes untradable on exchanges turning the coin you bought as an asset into a liability in your wallet. A liability in the essence that a fee is required to transfer the coin out of your wallet without bringing in any monetary equivalent.

in my opinion shitcoin is a coin that really does not have a real or coin product that has a product but it is very difficult to compete and also develop and increasingly marginalized by new coin coins popping up.

For me a crypto could be considered as a shitcoin when it is worthless or doesn't have a value,
I also consider the alt-coin that continues to drop down as a shitcoin most of the time when this happen the coin/crypto would be dead without an order on the market.

Shitcoin is any coin that has no real application or has been dumped hard by the team. Shitcoin for some people is coin abandoned by team after ICO,  Shitcoin is like wallet decoration in this case. Shitcoin might also be seen as forgotten coins, no development whatsoever.

for me id say , shitcoin means if a coin is not listed and wont ever be listed no matter how long you hodl and wait  . i have lots of them and i got them all when im still active on joining an airdrop , it was last year to be specific , that was moment that i joined an airdrop but until now , almost 1 year has passed but those coins that i hold arent still listed on any exchange  .   while some guys consider a coin a shit coin even if the coin have a small value  .

I also do not what exactly define a shitcoin. People keep talking about shitcoins. There are many coins having similar features and services to offer and what causes some to fail and others to succeed? I think shit coin is a coin that is not rising in price. If a coin is struggling to survive no matter how strong its team and technology is, the coin is called shitcoin.

I think a shitcoin is a coin which is a clone of another coins without any new feature and also without any real support and the price continue grow, and also the price drop and also a coin with huge premine.

If the coin is a fork of another coin without significant modifications or changes in functionality, the project does not have a development team or a group of individual developers who actively participate in its development, or if the team is anonymous, then with high probability it is a shitcoin.

Personally, shitcoin to me means any coin that has no real life use case, no project development, project abandoned and coin dumped by the team because their initial aim was never to carry on with the project or follow the roadmap, but to make money from token sale. If a coin has good project development and it's dumping, I don't normally blame the team because most times they can't control market factors unless via a buy back policy.
