We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

I don't want expectations at all but I will be positive in my outlook about the market, so many things have happened in the past that comes unexpected and so many things that we expect to happen that do not live up to our expectation, just believe that the market will be better because it will eventually get better, positive and negative news come and go and the market will just go along with it, just be flexible know when to sell and when to buy again, and support the right projects.

Bitcoin has become universal currency which every domination really want to adopt and absorbed to their geographical zone. But just want you to understand this conception concerning cryptocurrencies and more especially bitcoin in question, if this specific nations accept cryptocurrency as a legal tender their is no vain government can as well determine or control the fluctuations of it.

I know quite well that many up breeds are skeptical of hijacking of cryptocurrency via government legalizing it as a legal tender to a particular country, this is a digital currency that is decentralized, therefore government can regulates centralized currency only irrespective of cryptocurrency adoptions, it can't be controlled by any arms.

The news could be great news for bitcoin to rise again but it looks like it's still waiting for a while because the current bitcoin trend is still down. Maybe if there is still good news about bitcoin again, it can make bitcoin go back up but if the trend is still down like now, it can't make bitcoin go up. So for now, I can't expect much to see bitcoin rise and only check the state of the market now and then and if the market is still like this, there's a good chance I'll place another buy order or do nothing.

News like this generally doesn’t cause rallies anymore. We know Bitcoin is accepted and praised by many nations. So this is why with all this positive news, Bitcoin still went down.

I think depending on how the stock market performs next week, we might see Bitcoin do a huge move. Either by breaking the top pivot at $45K or going back to the mid $35Ks. Right now we are just ranging and not much is happening.

For me its better not to expect something if we hear this kind of news. For example, when El Salvador broke the news months ago it didn't put a dent on the market. And even if these two countries legalise bitcoin, they are going at war which each other which balances this positive news. Regulations has been at our shoulder ever since we have our bull run in 2017. So don't be surprised if we will hear future amendments on crypto regulations globally, not just Russia or in Ukraine.

Well, I smell that this news will lead to massive adoption and now there are too many countries that have been followed by the steps of El Salvador which is the first county to announce bitcoin as a legal tender. In this case, bitcoin will become regulated by most countries but they don't expect a full regulation on it because there are few people that can still use hiding their identities behind the decentralized exchange to cover their ass.
However, we should be thankful that most government now will not hate bitcoin anymore.

If neighboring countries will see the improvement in the economy of El Salvador, there's no doubt that some of them will think of following their route. Though some will stick to their local fiat, but more than likely some will have more friendly approach towards bitcoin. Not only neighboring countries but those that are following their progress when they declare bitcoin as legal tender.

Some governments may look in the regularization of crypto-businesses to get tax from it, but making it as legal tender just like in El Salvador may still be far-fetched from their standpoint.

Its a good or positive more forward on which it would be always a good news to have speaking on overall adoption and recognition.Sooner or later there would be countries which would really take the same step

specially now that El Salvador is the first place which do really make it as a legal tender and other countries do make it legalized which it is really a good sign
that we are heading into a future where crypto could really be having a bright or good future which is a good news to have.

I also had time to read an article about Russia on Cointelegraph
Quote
The report also highlights that cryptocurrency transactions of more than 600,000 rubles (roughly $8,000) would have to be declared; otherwise, it could be considered a criminal act. Those who illegally accept cryptocurrencies as payment will incur fines
Source: Cointelegraph
The good news is that the government has approved bitcoin as a legal currency that can be used in physical life right? But I highlighted also that what kind of report should be made, I mean an announcement to a bank or institution specialized in this matter? Could it be related to taxes? My expectation about this speculation maybe strengthen the new bullish sign.

^ I don't know these countries' laws and regulations and how their insight of BTC and other cryptocurrencies but I think they will be hard to implement to make BTC a legal tender in their place. But I am expecting adoption of BTC in the countries but it does not mean there is a legal way of adoption, probably their people are free to use BTC. But let us wait for further information for this because there is no clear information about their legalization and if that will happen it is expected that BTC will have a bull market again, we know Ukraine and Russia has a big players in investing crypto so it is expected of a massive adoption of all cryptocurrencies.

It is fascinating that people are just talking about Russia and Ukraine legalizing Bitcoin, which of course is not true when it comes to Russia - and it has absolutely nothing to do with what happened in El Salvador where Bitcoin is a legal tender. In most countries, Bitcoin is not illegal, but people have a hard time deciding to invest in something they don't understand at first, and someone else keeps telling them they'll lose money if they do. Just take the example of the Bank of England, which is constantly negative about Bitcoin, and there are such examples all over the world.

It's a real art to make something legal, and at the same time convince people that it's bad for them - I think it's a game that the world's biggest powers are trying to play when it comes to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has been regulated by many governments around the world, both of them are not the first. Majority of nations as far as bitcoin is contain is still in the middle, neither legal or illegal and yet they consider putting a regulatory body to monitor it.

What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

Nothing, it is what it is, bitcoin will continue to flourish with or without any government accepting it although it will hasten it's acceptance globally if they will make it legal.

What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

Of course this is a great news for crypto enthusiast but it doesn't mean that it will help the price. Just look at the current movement, no effects at all. So it's better not to be excited with this kind of news and let the market do it's normal thing. As we don't like hype to push the market and FOMO because what follows might be a huge dump. So it's better as what others have been saying in this market not to assume anything and just be prepared.

I still hope that all countries in the world open their eyes and see the great potential that bitcoin can provide. however bitcoin never makes people lose, the issue of bitcoin mining is a destroyer of the environment that has ever been heard of is only unclear news, the proof is that until now the good concept of mining Bitcoin continues to develop.

I hope that other countries that haven't decided to make bitcoin legal can accept bitcoin and make it legal so that their people can use bitcoin without fear of violating their government regulations. But it looks like it will still take some time to get countries to accept bitcoin and we have to be patient for that. But I feel that the adoption process will still go on and it could even be bigger than now because bitcoin itself has attracted the attention of many people. But unfortunately, this time we see bitcoin price is down again and make us to wait for more.

If that become regulated in their country, that was their problem but I preferred not. Because if that going to happen, there is no sense in calling Bitcoin a decentralized market anymore. But I think people wouldn't tend to agree if the government will impose that rules as regulations is need not be regulated.

So whatever happened in Russia and Ukraine, that there choice. That just only happens with them, as we are different here in our place. So glad that our government never has the greediness insides to pursue crypto holders to pay taxes.

I know about Russia-Ukraine geopolitical issue but never about Bitcoin. They are just connecting it to stocks and investments because it can react whenever there's threat to war or whatever it is about politics. Russia is against mining Bitcoin as it consumes a lot of energy and Ukraine are open to anything including the use of cryptocurrencies.
I don't really expect anything in regards of Bitcoin as I am more concerned about what would happen to the two countries if ever other countries will try to meddle with it.

Expect what is unexpected, i mean even those countries that don't like bitcoin for sure in the future they will change their mind as well once all country really accepting bitcoin and some use it as a legal tender like what El Salvador did to bitcoin.

Is obvious that Russia was not bitcoin positive country earlier but now they have started a process with bitcoin for whatever reason they have make a legal status for bitcoin which other countries continue that way. Russia and China have not supported bitcoin, I think now Russia worked out, China may be the next Grin

Like El Salvador that accept bitcoin as a legal tender, the government of El Salvador bought bitcoin and make it available for their citizens using Chivo wallet which is a custodail means. I have read news very well about Russia that is working to making bitcoin a legal currency, Russian approach can be a little different but it will still also be in a way banks and exchanges regulated by Russian government will be the ones providing crypto services.

This is a way bitcoin can get more adoption but also the way more people will use custododial service. I can say you are right but not totally right because this does not make people that are using noncustododial wallet and decentralized exchanges to use centralized ones mandatorily, but having full control and privacy can be costly.

That said, I know how people behave, later they will say they are using a custodial wallet or bank because their friends have being using it for years and nothing happened, this will make more people to join using custodial wallets, exchanges and banks for their crypto holdings which is what the governments want. I am still wondering why some people like to hold bitcoin on exchanges when they know it can be hacked at anytime.

Because to be honest bitcoin is already very exposed mate. So i wouldn't be surprised if someday bitcoin becomes very legal in the near future in all over the world. Just saying.
