The adoption of bitcoin by all civilised countries is inevitable. It is a new kind of asset that many big companies have. There are legal bitcoin exchanges in many countries. Progress does not stand still. I am sure that soon bitcoin will be something like an international settlement system on a par with CBDC.

My expectations are for Wall Street to continue scooping up Bitcoin to manage for their investment funds while eyeballing juicy management fees. Individual holders will continue being chased out of the market with volatility, fears, and temptation of owning mansions and flashy cars.

Price wise, I expect things to be a bit rocky as the US Govt auctions off the confiscated billions from rapper Razzlekhan and mtgox funds hit the market. These events could drag on for a while, but I imagine once they are behind us, it will be off to the races. It will be interesting to see how much influence the 4-year cycle has after this one was interrupted before a blow off top could be realized.

We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?
day after day, bitcoin is increasingly seen as a unifier. The conflict that occurred in these two countries has captured the world's attention, with a statement from that two countries that regulate Bitcoin, it will definitely make bitcoin's prestige even stronger

My biggest expectation right now is of course my country can regulate Bitcoin as well and let transactions with BITCOIN be free to do

I hope that the countries of the world can be more open to adopting bitcoin now, and hope they can follow what salvador is doing, but my only biggest hope for now is : that there will be no war between russia and ukraine because to be honest I really want to see a world full of peace without any more war anywhere. Cry
There must be the right speed/acceleration of the adoption , otherwisee the world might be in total chaos , i dont mind with the current cryptocurrency development , the adoption going really well and smooth everywhere around the world and i personally satisfying enough to see it.

Expecting cryptocurrency to become world standard currency while the people themselves arent ready , it's mean nothing , it wont work for sure so yeah there must be the right speed of acceleration/adoption.

Update on Ukraine and Russia, war is already happening between the two countries.

About regulation, well, I think that's important, as much as we want to preserve the privacy or anonymity of transactions but we cannot neglect the risk that the government could ban it if they cannot regulate it. Once crypto is regulated, people would easily adopt it as they know there's no risk of using it anymore, let us already believe that real usage results in adoption, not from people who buy and sell when there's hype as they are the reasons why the market is so volatile.

Adoption has been widespread and what happened to Russia and Ukraine is not because of it, it was a different story but the effect in the crypto market is big. But I'm not seeing this will lead to change how Bitcoin is known to us having a decentralized platform, it will still remain in that position.

What I'm expecting of Bitcoin is that sooner or later more countries will adopt this and the price may grow multiple times. But I was afraid that the manipulation may cause more volatility in the market than we thought.

Bitcoin has become universal currency which every domination really want to adopt and absorbed to their geographical zone. But just want you to understand this conception concerning cryptocurrencies and more especially bitcoin in question, if this specific nations accept cryptocurrency as a legal tender their is no vain government can as well determine or control the fluctuations of it.
Isn't that something that should not happen to a decentralized asset like bitcoin?

But I don't think the government is able to control bitcoin including its price (price fluctuation) because the market is determined by supply and demand. It makes sense for governments to be able to control bitcoin users with regulation but not bitcoin and its price. Traders are those who can sell and buy bitcoin based on supply and demand price that are adjusted to market condition, so in my opinion the government will not be able to control the price even if they manage to control the users. If the government manages to regulate price fluctuations then what is the point of decentralizing bitcoin in your opinion?

Of course, my hope is that all countries decide to make bitcoin legal, such as Russia, Ukraine, and El Salvador, who first made bitcoin a legal tender. If a country has legalized cryptocurrency then the local people are calm to buy and trade bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

There is no doubt in my mind %100 for sure that the legality of it will not be a problem before 2030. All of the world will make it either legal or illegal and there won't be any questions regarding this anymore. We are not going to have "x country makes bitcoin legal" or "y country bans bitcoin" type of news after that. Because that could be done once, maaaybe it could be changed eventually but at the end of the day it will be over and we are going to just stop hearing about all of these words. That is before 2030 for sure because countries need to reach a decision way before any of these reach 10 trillion dollars marketcap total and it looks like it will happen before 2030 for sure.
Bitcoin is going to force their hands, governments have problems with bitcoin because there are things they like and things they do not like, on one hand they would like to make it legal and get a lot of taxes out of this new revolutionary industry, which could also help the economy of their countries and produce new jobs.

But on the other hand they fear that bitcoin will achieve all of this and at the same time weaken their position and the power of banks as well, so they are facing a difficult decision, this is why they are  trying to put all kind of restrictions on bitcoin to get the best of both worlds, but they will fail and bitcoin will become so big that they will prefer to get a piece of the action even if over the long term this decision weakens them.

Expect what is unexpected, i mean even those countries that don't like bitcoin for sure in the future they will change their mind as well once all country really accepting bitcoin and some use it as a legal tender like what El Salvador did to bitcoin.
Because to be honest bitcoin is already very exposed mate. So i wouldn't be surprised if someday bitcoin becomes very legal in the near future in all over the world. Just saying.
I still have a doubt if they were really wanna change just like China, they like how to control almost everything in their country so I won't be much positive about them if they want to change. Let's just focus on the other countries that has some chances of changing like India or perhaps the other Asian countries since there has been some misunderstanding about Bitcoin to them that's why they don't trust it.

I'm not going to agree to cite that they will change like China. What they did is right, running and accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender in their country is of good intention, I'm not seeing a plan to take control of everything. Might, of course, a change in the mind of their leaders could lead to that way but that seems a less chance, unless there is a hidden agenda behind this adoption.

I'd love to see Bitcoin become a legal tender worldwide but if the purpose is to make it centralized, well, it doesn't make sense.

Well, we can't blame them if they don't read about what is Bitcoin or perhaps they don't need their people to have their own bank instead of depositing it to their central bank.

Currently my only expectation is war FUD and all whales who gleefully try to help push down the price so they can put themselves into a desirable position to buy even more Bitcoin. After that I think we will probably see a huge and steady rise to over 100k especially once Russia starts giving crypto more attention. Although we may have reached a good bottom to buy in at already. Either way, I don't think its wise to panic sell over any oncoming news anytime soon.
The whole trading market like stocks, commodities, cryptos etc has fallen down badly after the news of conflict between Russia and Ukraine .It has happened what i thought before the war start that market could fall down badly .The real time now it is on down trend after conflict start .The FUD are around everywhere and Whale are taking the chance and buying on deep .Who knows what will be the next on the market .I am really expecting that the situation will turn over and we can get positive news from both the side .We don't want to see any war ,We just wanna see a peaceful world with good positive trend on the market .I am holding my asset strongly and i think we need to become more patient to avoid losses .

That is my concern too. If the war happens, I can't imagine how many people will suffer, and hunger will be everywhere. Kids will lose their parents. Their parents can't find their kids because they are separate in different places. Chaos will be everywhere without us knowing when it will end. Right now, I don't expect anything from the market, but I only hope the market will rise again. I also expect the adoption of bitcoin continues, and much good news comes to the public to help bitcoin get more support.

Regulation is always the best answer for us to expect adoption , because the government cannot have any power towards crypto transacting so being regulated is their main act to gather at least benefits from crypto.

If that is the problem preventing adoption of bitcoin the governments should come to the open and let the entire world know they want to regulate it and not the condemnation of it. It is clear there is no way government will allow the use of bitcoin without sorting out how it is going to benefit monetarily from it. Without regulations, the government will loose out and I do not see this being allowed.

What is your expectation of bitcoin ?
If I could remember, I think Russia once banned bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, am not sure, so I stand to be corrected, but what am driving at is that this is just the beginning, am expecting many other countries to join the bitcoin movement soon, to me, it doesn't matter whether bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading becomes regulated or not, what matter is that bitcoin is super popular and many countries are beginning to realize it's importance, soon, alot of other countries will join in making bitcoin and cryptocurrencies legal, am expecting this between now and 2025.
Russia didnt banned bitcoin totally but rather it does have some proposals to be on that point on which after that sentiment the market had plummeted out
https://www.indiatoday.in/technology/news/story/russia-proposes-ban-on-cryptocurrency-use-and-mining-will-still-allow-citizens-to-own-crypto-1902819-2022-01-21
and on the time that they had made out some word for some possible adoption or recognition then the price had been starting to recover.
Is this something new? No its not because news and sentiments like this could really neither give out some impacts or not.

Bitcoin will be more popular globally, Bitcoin will be accepted and regulated by more countries in the future.
Bitcoin might be accepted by more establishments in the upcoming years. Nothing more. I don't want to expect too much as there is no surprise to it. Just expect the unexpected whether it would be negative or positive Smiley.
But with bitcoin being legalized in the countries one by one there would be a problem in paying taxes, as in India the taxes on bitcoin investment profits is 30% which is the same tax slab that is being paid by the elite people who earn more than middle class here. And the main problem is that you just can't write off the losses if there are any in case of a bad investment in crypto, so this can be a big problem if you earn less as compared to the amount you invested in crypto and would have to still pay taxes on top of that too. On the other hand people were far better when government was turning a blind eye on crypto industry as a whole.

But bitcoin being legalized comes with ample career opportunities in the country and also now starting a crypto business would be easy as compared to when it was not a legal tender.
