I voted 20-30 and I'm glad that most of the people here voted same way. Maybe 2020 is not long enough to know what is bitcoin to the other people. It's not easy to discuss this bitcoin to the people who are not open minded.

In my opinion only 1-2% of people will use Bitcoin by 2020, because for now it is not necessary in everyday life and it is still doubtful if it can replace ordinary money, which many people are happy to use.
Almost 60 percent of people on earth will own bitcoin by 2020, because as we see bitcoin popularity is already spread in all countries today, and its already popular. More people are convincing to invest because the price of bitcoin is increasing from time to time, and not only for that its best for investment and most trusted . I think more people will recognize or accept bitcoin. So the percentage of people will increases by 2020.

I also feel the same as the day progressing bitcoin is extending its arm all over the world but I don't think it crosses the single digit in terms of percentage of users by 2020, as of now mere users are there for bitcoin, thing is bitcoin is not legalised in many countries that are the problem. 
Bitcoin popularity rate is very fast now as compare to past due to which we are expecting that till 2020 BTC will take popularity rate on earth will be 50-60% and i think that will be great achievement as compare to other currencies.

Yeah even bitcoin prove us that it is a great coin other people stay think that this is a bubble, and its hard for me to share this to my friends because they also afraid ,but i still believe that i have a future in bitcoin.

I voted 5-10 percent because many of people didn't know bitcoin or the others says bitcoin is scam. They get even research what is bitcoin. Maybe 2020 is not long enough to know what is bitcoin to the other people. It's not easy to discuss this bitcoin to the people who are not open minded.
I just voted 50 because I really don't know how will it go. Maybe more people will know and will have knowledge about bitcoin when it will be brought to school. When teacher will tell and discuss like what other things learned in school. Who will like to own it when you don't know what's the use of it and how it work. It's like giving a 2 year old child a $100 and that children don't know what's the value of that.

I've been running a poll for some time now about the value of 1 bitcoin by 2020 and it's safe to say a lot of different opinions and guesses are made.

Well my prediction about the percentage of people who will own bitcoin by the year 2020, i think it will be 50%. Only few people in the world has an idea about the usage and capabilities of bitcoin. As the bitcoin create some development and price increase, it makes noise in the news and in the internet. In that case, more people will become curious about what is bitcoin so more people will engage themselves in bitcoin. This poll completes the other one and i'm really looking forward to everyone's input in this.

If bitcoin used by 90-100% of people on earth, there will be serious problem with bitcoin transactions, bitcoin transactions are competing with each other, people who set the higher fee will get the priority, so imagine how much fees that we have to pay. Long time confirmed transactions. It will be better if bitcoin only used by rich people and investors. because I believed that by 2020, this is the percent that people in earth will be using bitcoin and owning and investing on it.

Well its difficult to say because you do not what will happen with the bitcoin but I think it will rise to a high amount and it will get more popular.
Its already getting more popular by day, I think 43% will own a bit of bitcoin in 2020.

I think less than 50 or 40 percent will own bitcoin by the year 2020. It will depend on how bitcoin
will do or behave in the market. It gets wobbly sometimes, it's value and price shifts in an instant.
But that very characteristic that makes it variable seems to draw a lot of interest to bitcoin.
That interest fuels people to assimilate into bitcoins. It's appeal will increase and so will the
percentage of people who will probably own bitcoins by then.
I won't speculate in numbers, I don't know which percentage of people will own the bitcoins, but I'm sure that now is the time when the masses are down, so in the next 2 years the number of users will double at least
Predictions in numbers is tough as we never know what the future can bring us but one thing is sure that the mass adoption is within our reach. With the current surge of price now no doubt bitcoin is gaining attention so we can expect more price increase day by day until the adoption is completed.
This is actually an idea that's quite hard to predict because nothing is certain in the future and anything can happen within the bitcoin industry.

I think in 2020 70% of people know and have a bitcoin . yes bitcoin is famous now but people are not that totally trusting in investing in bitcoin so they rather save it in banks . but in 2020 a lot of people will be in bitcoin and not in banks ever
