yes there is no doubt about this and no other option. i am sure that bitcoin is going to become the world new currency both for online as we all physically. people are now understanding bitcoin and therefore trying their best to facilitate themselves from the services of bitcoin. and hope very soon bitcoin will be our main currency.

In this topic, I think every one here in this forum are wishing or thinking some of you that bitcoin will be the new world currency in the near future to come. Even it will take a miles a way before it can be done. Although this is just an speculation for now.

I am hoping that bitcoin will be not only a cryptocurrency but also a new world currency and it will replace the US Dollar on the peak . that would be a really big change if it happened because no country holds bitcoin as their own currency or their national currency just like the United States I think they became the world's leading country and obtained the most powerful title because of their dollar ..
It's not what you hope but what would really happen. Right now Bitcoin does not show that it can be a global currency but it is not the Bitcoin's fault but the government. they don't want a currency that can be controlled by an individual outside the government, it hands them too much greater of a power than the government can give. Yeah that is the possibility that in the new age bitcoin will be the global currency and it will have its own banks in different countries but I think it will be difficult for every country to start a separate banks and the banks will also not want to remain behind so in these countries the existent banks will work to start the use of bitcoin. I'm not sure that the government is to allow Bitcoin has become the new currency. Already around the world started strict regulation of Bitcoin.
That's why I think that in the near future the dollar will remain the leader

I don't know exactly why gold and silver are on the list. In fact there was a time when fiat currency was gold standard, and this was something that made the currency have real value, preventing the currency from being inflated by centralized institutions. Currently, US dollar does not have the same standard and has a much lower value. With regard to gold itself, it is very often used to store value, but it's very expensive to be shipped through the world. With Bitcoin, you have an infinitely lower cost, and this can be done with much more convenience.

who is to everyone available and not directly traceable will be the new world currency.

i hope that bitcoin will be our new world currency but it need more time before its happen and from now on, USD Dollar will still in the lead because USD is always in the top currency in the world. i think bitcoin have the potential to be the next new world currency because bitcon have many benefits that could help us to solve the economic problems.

Bitcoin right now is an alternative currency for many of us and also a form of investment at the same time. If you ask me if it is going to be the currency that my future grand kids will be using in the distant future, I am not quite sure what to answer. I think only time will tell if bitcoin gets to survive many more years or if something else takes its place.
but i am confident that in future our kids will be using bitcoin as digital currency as well as they will use it in local shops like fiat currency. in fact in present time most of the online shops are accepting bitcoins, while in some area there are physical shops who are accepting bitcoins for shopping, but such shops are present only in such places where the users of bitcoin are more. well, china and Russia have already started using their local currencies for trade avoiding US dollars.China and japan are also trading using their local currencies.Since china is now the greatest trade partner of the african continent, china is seeking aggresively to use their currency for trade.China and UAE have also agreed to use their local currencies for trade.And China economy is projected to pass the US economy by 2016. So, we could expect china Yuan to be the new world currency.
i think not only China but all countries of the world giving preference to their local currencies. but still China is the great support of bitcoin. majority of the and miner are from China, so they are contributing too much in increasing bitcoin. may be China will be the 1st country to accept bitcoin as legal currency and hope that after that other countries will also start accepting bitcoin.

But when we say about Bitcoin, it is a digital currency and can be used in any country. Countries can't limit it or capture its market. So, it is on right track and maybe in 20-30 years we can see Bitcoin a leading world currency.

In India, the government already trying to implement the plan "Digital India" which is cashless transaction. Actually which will never be happened as more peoples were uneducated and not aware of digital currency/transaction.

You are right, and considering India is not a big country, we can already assume that most users in that country are comfortable with using paper money. They cannot make it compulsory for the entire population, it will not create a good community when people cannot easy trade successfully. As it is a developing country, and most people are backward thinker. They will be not ready to accept any new implementation. Dollar will prevail as it is, Bitcoin is good as alternative currency and Investment at the point.

Im agree with your opinion its nothing will be change in our fiat current system but in near future it possible that they make their own digital money that can replace their physical money.Thats the influence of cryptography and Bitcoin.

yes governments have to accept the global changes, the changes in the need and interest of the people. first it is expected that all the government will come to one point and they will accept bitcoin as a global currency which will be beneficial for all the countries and people of the world, but if they do not agree then they will certainly think about starting their own digital currency.
