Things are becoming exciting for sure because we're going to see how the Metaverse will have the transition from the usual projects to another one and that includes gambling.
There are still a lot of matters that are yet to be seen with that application and many have become aware of how it goes because of the idea of how it has made things new in the crypto scene.

This is by far the most exciting, and I believe that the majority of young gamblers who are interested in technology are particularly enthusiastic about it, as it represents a novel and entertaining experience for them. I am hoping that this will be a success, but I believe that it will take some time to complete and that it will not be released until a later date. I am also unsure of the equipment that will be used and how expensive it will be, as well as the gadgets that will be required. We are hoping that this will be affordable for everyone so that we can all enjoy it.
It will take some time before most casinos will have it and there's a possibility that not all of them are interested in it. Like being static would be already good enough for them because that's what their demand and market say so, there's no need to push that.
But for sure the new gen of gamblers would like to try almost everything and if there's a casino that has this new application of metaverse, they'll come and get there.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
also worth remembering that when internet came some said newspapers would end, when ebooks came many said it was the end for books... we still see books around and newspapers too (thought I could agree that maybe newspapers won't last much longer...)
Technology has been in existence right from the medieval days and with time, it has revolves and disintegrated into different forms and it the loop has been going on for long, it doesn't end it one place, it will continue to progress but you see books, I doubt if it will every be replace, even the so historians and advanced archeologist still want some documentation should be in book written form, not everything will go digital.
I think I'm the only one that hate technology replacing every aspect of sports, the fun is fading away without us realizing it.
Books can't be replaced and it's not a true saying that it has already been replaced by the ongoing fast paced technology like the internet. Books are still relevant and will still be even in the coming next century to come since there are still advantages we can find in it. For sports, I think some of the great like football can't be easily replaced by the technology we have right now, it will still thrive.

Most of the trend today is relayed on the world of NFT so there's an instance or chance might be they will adopt this kind of a trend right now afaik there's a thread too related to the Gambling and metaverse and also the virtual reality due to pandemic many people now are would like to entertain with this trends its the new meta of the gambling industry well looking forward on it lets see.
The pandemic has given the idea to everyone about the metaverse. And now that it has become a trend, everybody is thinking that it can be applied to almost all things that we do in our lives which includes gambling. Well, it's really possible but to see that it happen is what we have to be patient of. In the moment that we're discussing, we have no idea on what particular crypto casino is going to have this feature to attract more customers get into them just because they have their casino in the version of metaverse.

I personally love the way things are right now and a change to Metaverse which everyone here is talking about and since everyone it is talking about some crypto casinos can take it seriously and make it reality.I am a traditional gambler which just plays sport betting and slot machines most of the time with some fewer times roulette and blackjack.I am very very happy with the huge variety of the slot machines by different providers and even if Metaverse becomes a reality in crypto casinos I will still keep playing the traditional games.I don't like such dramatic changes in most of other industries as well, change is good but not always, why change something that has proved that it works great for something which you don't know how it will go ?
The metaverse is, of course, wonderful and interesting.

But there is one, as yet unresolved question.  The fact is that there are already more than 100 or even more than 200 projects of metauniverses. But we live in the same real Universe.  If this set of MetaUniverses does not unite into one large Metaverse, then they will be some kind of fragmented garbage for a narrow circle of users.
And accordingly, the casino in each of them will be just bullshit incomparable with the usual existing physical or even virtual casino from our universe. Smiley

In my opinion, very large financial investments are needed to create a full-fledged Metaverse.

We need powerful servers, 6g communication towers, virtual reality devices, programmers, designers, etc.

Government support is also needed.  Only a large IT company can make such investments.  I'm talking about companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Xiaomi, etc.

Therefore, there will not be very many Metaverses.  There will be 5 - 6 - no more.

You have listed practically all the evil corporations that collect users' personal data and use it at their own discretion. It seems to me that the world will increasingly move away from such centralized companies towards open source development and in my opinion that would be the best solution. Even if it is not as convenient to use, we won't have to worry about our data. I hope soon WEB 3 will be used everywhere.

Virtual reality devices need to be much more common and made much more affordable. The popularity it should have by now just has not happened. As far as investors go, I believe that a sufficient enough investment into that area could be made if it were adopted more by the people, instead of hoping for big investors pouring money into it. In fact, if Mark Zuckerberg can't make the cut by pouring his money into Metaverse, then what chance do other investors have?

I don't see the need for 6g when we can barely get everyone onboard with 5g....

There's no need to be upset
Last night, I idly watched a movie about VR. The film is called Moussa, and I wonder if it will be like VR is happening now? But if it has been applied to gambling, how do you feel about playing gambling using glasses? It also feels strange if we wear VR glasses to play gambling. Or maybe with the development of technology, we can see playing gambling virtually like when we interact at a real gambling table. It's really still beyond my ability to imagine Grin
It may seem odd now but people adapt very fast to those changes, if we were able to tell people 50 years ago that in the future most people on the street would be looking at a small device instead of looking ahead of them and that most social interactions will be done through that device they would have never believed us, but now look at us, that is the reality in which we are living, and I think VR is going to have an even bigger impact than the one we are seeing with smartphones today.

Yes, I think so because the current VR technology is more advanced and it is highly likely that VR technology will reach its peak in the next few years. We live in today's era and talk about many things that are not possible in our current era. But it can all become a reality when technology helps make it happen. So the future is long and the current VR technology is just the beginning while it will surely develop even more. And we might not be able to see the extent to which VR and other new technologies will emerge because we're no longer in this world. Maybe our children and grandchildren will experience it.

VR is now slowly spreading and the interest of people especially on gaming scene is now rising and if casino owners adopt this and implement this on their businesses then provably we can see this industry became more bigger and successful as many people want to play in different settings using VR or anything what can make them entertain.
VR technology is been here for a while but still the adoption isnt really just that on fast pace manner but we are seeing that this had been applied not only on gambling but also in medical industry as well.
Lets just wait until there would be sufficient time on where certain industries would enhance out the application of this one.It might not really be that high as of this moment but sooner or later
we would really be seeing that interest would really becomes even more higher.

Yes, the usage of VR equipments over the years have increased. In particular the usage of VR headset have increased a lot. This means more number of people have got into gaming. Maybe slowly this can enter into the gambling platforms. I don't find this to make a big change and give better entertaining experience when used in gambling.

The famous writer Roger Zelazny wrote that at the highest level of development, technology is already indistinguishable from magic.

Therefore, in order to understand what new technologies will be used in the gambling industry, you need to let your imagination run wild.

For example, the metaverse is essentially a parallel reality.  Thus, a virtual casino in the Metaverse can be located in the past, future, on another planet or in another dimension.  NFTs are essentially analogues of magic spells.  DAO is a state or commercial company.
DeFi is an analogue of energy magical flows.

Using these elements, you can create an absolutely unique online casino.

Well let's see how long will NFT projects make a significant hype to the crypto platform, I am also aware how hype this feature is but you're right mate if the hype of NFT's is over will it be good for a long term run? But so far, with many possibilities that NFTs especially metaverse could contribute to gambling industry is the one that excites me as a gambler. I would like to experience a new gambling experience with a touch of technology.
It's the talk of the town that NFT x gambling will have an integration.

We'll see if there is going to be a proper integration with what we're thinking about NFT and gambling and what it will look like. Because the reality of it is that we're also worried about a time when NFT will no longer be hype.

We know about that and it is possible that time will come that it will not be popular as before.

I think the possibilities of nft and the metaverse are now greatly overestimated.

It seems to me that the hype around these technologies is already declining quite a lot.  It is enough to look at the financial performance and turnover of OpenSea now and half a year ago.  They are clearly declining.  People who have tried to use nft and MetaUniverses are simply tired of them and have become uninteresting.  These people abandoned them and forgot about them.  This of course does not apply to individual geeks, I mean millions of ordinary users of cryptocurrencies.

So it is not known whether these technologies will be in demand en masse or simply remain in the narrow sector of It technologies?

what do you think has a broader reach and is better at making general people interested? Money or enterteinment?

most people find investing boring but like games and movies.

that's why I think NFTs have bigger chance to be the killer app, both are important and both will get to huge numbers in the future.

Crypto is growing at a faster pace than the internet and one area helps another
some people will be into DeFi, others into blockchain games, others into minting or collecting NFTs, others into many of these...
