for now for me ethereum always will be number 2 and does not matter what coinmarketcap shows. not xrp, eos and so on.
That is the time when the price of the ethereum good to buy. Under $100 is thw good price because that coins become thousands of dollar. For sure it will turn back again to the rank 2 so don't worry and after few years it will become rank 1 .

Ethereum has a fork scheduled in the month of January 2019 so you can expect it to make some moves (mostly tempory) as the date comes closer. And for the no.2 position, I dont think one should be bothered about it much as it does not make much sense at least to me in the current market scenario.

I fully believe that Ethereum will do it, it is necessary that time is not enough. Update 2.0 will soon appear and redo Ethereum to change and fix it up at a good price, I think

Yes I agree with you but it's not going up beyond $150 as somehow it managed to reach near to it. Eth is a strong competitor in the market I hope it will regain its position as king of altcoins.
