Although ether now is 90%+ down since ATH, I still believe to its capabilities and as the first coin to introduce smartcontract using blockchain technology I still have a big trust and new updates coming next year, not only ether even btc and many other coins are at big loss in value now atleast we still have +27699% roi since ico, we must all think theres still hope after this market decline.
Ether has dropped to $ 90. Should I buy more under the prospect of growth or look at other competitors? I'm interested in your opinion, which of the Altcoins dedicated to smart contracts is the most promising?
When ETH goes down to $ 50, then you can buy a lot of coins. The situation with the fall of the complex. And I think it will fall even more for the holidays. It is worth the wait and make a great investment.
Cool that you buy ETH by such price, also because of all markets in depth there are a lot of perspective competitors, in this area, which are very cheap, just do your own research.
I actually think ETH might be reaching its minimum price and any attempt to go down again below that threshold might probably mean crypto is dead so for me I think its good time to buy now. ETH have good prospect and we can be sure to see good return when the price goes up again. This actually have ones reach around $600 before so if this happen again it means you will already be smiling to bank.

Ethereum is obsolete and is antiquated technology compared to simplicity which has the benefit of being possible to verify arbitrary code execution, without the need for Turing-completeness and allowing formal proofs to be created to insure DAO events cannot happen in smart contracts.

Im still very skeptical of simplicity and smart contracts finding utility anytime soon , but especially skeptical of "turing complete" smart contracts that are found in ETH

yes i think its good opportunity to invest in ethereum because its one of the good potential coin its price is under 100$ now so its good time to invest for long term
I think a lot of projects that will be better than ethereum and ethereum might be eliminated as time goes by so it's better to choose these new projects.

Ethereum is good coin and i am believe it will rise again in near future. Many ethereum competitors but most token in market using ethereum blockchain and i am believe ethereum will reach highest price again soon. 2018 is not good for most coin in market and its happen not only to ethereum. With smart contract, ethereum is popular coin and i think its good to invest in ethereum
Nobody will and should not force you into investing in any coin at this time, ethereum inclusive. Do your research, make your evaluation and make your decision on either to buy or not.

in my opinion the toughest competitor ethereum is EOS but until now I still see ethereum dominance at ICO still so strong and maybe that dominance will continue even when ethereum falls, and about the price, I think ethereum will still continue to fall, but I believe that in the end everything will be back just fine especially when bitcoin has recovered
ethereum has solid foundation as the developer behind it means real business and real technology. even it falls, it will always go back to recovery because the team behind it are continuing their development and looking for ways to make the platform stronger. unlike other projects which are mostly abandoned by this current market situation. but the op needs to decide for himself if he will buy it or not, because no one is to blame but himself if he's not satisfied with the results
