ICO could be seriously affected if this happens but I doubt it is going to be the end of ICO. The old cryptocurrency economy/ money lost in dip will be replaced by new economy and money from national currencies/economies. But lots of ads and creativity will be needed to attract the new money
If that happens maybe the ICO will certainly end its time and the project certainly cannot develop because of lack of funds. It's certainly very sad for ICO. With the current market, projects must compete to get investors. Can't project carelessly to attract investors. I can't imagine if a bitcoin is worth $ 1000. certainly very sad and mourning for the ICO.
It seems to me that some projects are not very worried about how positive they will finish an ico company, because if you take into account the fact that the project is really interesting and will be in demand in society, only the team will make every effort to get them token after listing on good trading platforms. If the team will continue to work on their project, then this project can be obtained through trading on exchanges, they are only. If the team continues to work on their project, then this project can receive through trading on exchanges, even if it was not possible to collect investments in ico company time. 
What if ico replace by ieo? and i think i will happen once ieo becomes successful and ico will be gone. on my opinion ieo is the new trend on new projects and we know it has more potential now than ico because ico give a negative trust on investors who have a lot of losses on it so they will try ieo to recover losses i think.

As we know since Bitcoin, Ethereum and other crypto have experienced a downtrend, some projects failed and scam. Even though they are listed on the market the price is very sad. This is what makes investors think many times before they want to invest in the project. At this time the presented of the IEO is better than the ICO.

I'm wondering what will happen to ICO if bitcoin goes back to 1000$ plus per one to find its bottom? Will ICO start dying off ? Cos presently ICO is already suffering from market condition and I'm wondering what ICO fate would be it bitcoin falls further ,any thoughts???
At present, even though the price of bitcoin has not dropped to $ 1000, ICO seems to have received less attention from investors. ICO gets its bad name because there are many fake projects that make investors lose their money.
If Bitcoin go down to $1000 it will not only ruin the ICO platform but also it will badly impact on crypto traders and big investors as every one knows crypto market is already in bearish from long time and more decline in Bitcoin is not acceptable for all, this is my own opinion may be i am wrong.
The market is changing. And very much. Weak projects will die immediately. New projects only very serious will be able to become a participant in the market. It's simple. Less money is more serious work.
why do you think new projects will die? will die those projects that will not find any application in the real world. You cannot know in advance which projects it will be

If bitcoin continues to drop as what you says, ICOs will also goes with it. It will be difficult for the ICO but it will still exist. Right now, more and more ICOs ends up as a failure but still everyday new ICOs are being born. It means there are still developers that thinks they can still succeed in this kind of market. Just like the saying says, "only the strongest can survive". Its all about survival of the fittest. If the project can adapt to this changing market, it has a chance, otherwise, it will fail.
I think that even the most backward developers have realized that it is better to carry out IEO than ICO and the very concept of ICO - this is aalready too old idea.Trends are changing very quickly, you need to grab them, and not sit in anticipation that the ICO will be restored as a concept.

I think the market will be turning soon. Perhaps it has already happened and the growth we have seen in the last few weeks is the beginning of a larger crypto pump.
As the market is now, I think more individuals are hungry by the day to bring up crypto projects ad do not even care whats happening or what happens to the existing ones. I don't think bitcoin going back to $1000 will have any effect on ICO.

ICO's are already in dying mode as many projects are not even achieve their soft-cap and closed. Only some projects with good model are able to achieve their targeted amount after extending their ICO period. Bitcoin cannot go to 1000$ level without any major happening in this market but if that happen due to any cause then that will be a major crisis movement for many listed and upcoming coins.
I dont think ICOs are dying. Many ICOs can reach the target but i a agree that ICO having hard time because right now many investor prefer choosing IEOs. IEOs promising quick listing in market and its profitable when start listed in exchanger

Bitcoin can't go back to $1000, if this was to happen just for an academic thinking, a lot of ICO who had collected fund will be grippled with great fear and either refund investors or scam, the others who have good intentions will just wait until anytime the market finally recovers.
Yeah, no way bitcoin price go back to $1,000 it's too much. If bitcoin really back to that price, i'm sure cryptocurrency will be in danger, people might be leave cryptocurrency because of it. For ICO, it will affect ICOs industry for sure, i think ICO will be that and no one will invest because people afraid their coins value will keep fall.
