I think the problem is that people have all these Bitcoins or crypto currencies but there is nothing you can buy it with. Some sites accept them but these services are merely entertainment in nature and not necessarily basic. I would love to see establishments accepting crypto currencies for food like pizza among others.

While we want to get away from the control of the government, we can't deny the fact that we still need them for bitcoin to be recognized by other people and institutions. For me the benefit of Bitcoin is advertising, mostly in bounty and ICO campaigns we are holding a campaign signature which is, we advertising the project of the campaign we participated to call the attention of the investor to invest to their project. I know there has a huge of websites who are connected to bitcoin but for me, few of them are legit. We can not say that bitcoin is a worldwide school presentation because it is hard to teach the students of we do not have an accurate information to it.
For me one way of getting involve by many people about bitcoin is through advertising. Social media had a great impacg to the society if we advertise it, more people will know bitcoin.
